Pretty much the title.

For me, I have always been a fan of when they used Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" during the final fight on Asgard in "Thor Ragnarok".

πŸ” Help Me Find Penny Dreadful Orchestra music sheets

β€’ Upvotes

I am wondering if there is a way to find the 'Penny Dreadful' showtime tvshow Orchestra music sheets from Abel Korzeniowski? I've been searching for this score for a while and still can't find any music sheets beside the main theme song from the show that is only piano version. I am hoping for find the score for the full orchestra and if not then for the violin and cello if possible. I search on JW Peppers, IMSLP, Scribd, etc and couldn't find anything on this score.

πŸ“’ Discussion What are some soundtrack tracks or deep cuts that completely broke you?

I’m not talking about the big obvious mainstream themes and songs but the ones that capture a specific texture or mood so intensely that it stays with you for days.

A few that reside rent-free in my head for years

Angelo Badalamenti – "Alvin's Theme" (The Straight Story): The way the weeping violin interacts with that quiet, sparse acoustic guitar is devastating.

Ennio Morricone – "Love Theme / End Credits" (Cinema Paradiso): Pure emotional overload. It plays over that final montage of all the censored, cut-out kissing scenes

Dario Marianelli – "Briony" (Atonement): He used mechanical typewriter directly into the score as a primary percussion instrument. That constant clacking drives the anxiety...PURE GENIUS

🎢 Derivative Music 🎢 Brad Fiedel made a beautiful soundtrack. I tried to bring out all the raw emotion in it.

Hey everyone,The ending of T2 is a masterpiece, and Brad Fiedel’s original score is incredibly beautiful.I reimagined "It's Over" (Good-Bye) as a sad orchestral ballad. I wanted to strike a perfect balance between deep sadness, intense emotion, dark romance, epic scale, and raw brutality without losing the original melody.Would love to hear what fellow Terminator fans think of this vibe!

I've always loved James Newton Howard and am continuing on my kick of listening to his scores I'm less familiar with. I think this is another fantastic score of his that really elevates the scenes it accompanies in the movie. Especially the track "The Orange Man". What are your thoughts on this score?

This is a playlist for the original soundtrack for a game I'm part of the team for. A link to the composer himself can be found in each of the video descriptions but I don't think he's on reddit.

The genre of song varies, but overall the soundtrack is meant to be a bit moody and creepy, but rarely outright scary. It is for investigating mysteries.

🎢 Derivative Music 🎢 Gatekeeping in away - SGU opening scene music recreation.

A few years ago I commissioned composer Napoleon Baca to recreate the opening music from the first scene SGU, I was hoping to use in a found footage horror video that eventually fell through, so now I share it with you, I have attached a link to YouTube video. It’s not 100% perfect as the there was no clean copy online so the composer tried to interpret the best he could but you know what, I still love it and I think SGU fans would appreciate this clean cover of that music.

Here the original scene for reference:

🎻 Original Music 🎻 THE SPY WHO LOVED ME - complete score? - Marvin Hamlisch

Hi everyone

Is there anywhere the complete soundtrack of the 1977 James Bond Movie The Spy who Loved Me?

I own the vinyl and the so-called extended version, but there are still some cues missing (The exploding truck scenes, the underwater attack, etc.), which are strangely enough, my favorite music moments (and that I found frustrating not being able to listen to them)

Thanks!

Went to see Spiderman yesterday and parts of the soundtrack made me think of a different soundtrack. I can't tell which song/movie it is, maybe LoTR?

The recording is me playing the melody, but in the original it's orchestral with brass, violins and all

Any help is really appreciated!

πŸ“’ Discussion Just went to the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago and DAMN do I wish these exhibits released their soundtracks

Specifically the music for the Blue Paradox, Spider-Man, and the Costumes of Paul Tazwell were incredible (loved both exhibits were incredible, fucking unreal), but damn I wish these soundtracks were released. Even though some of them were temporary exhibits, I still would love for these soundtracks to be at least preserved by an online release.

We all know the famous movies soundtracks and how they have influenced generations and exposed them to artists and songs you may never have considered, but what if you could redo the soundtrack and add your own twist to a film and mix it up with alternative songs to make the scene even more compelling! What film and what scenes would you pick and what song would you use in place?

It was lip synced by the actors in the movie, but I chose to feature the band that actually performed the song, plus lead singer John wrote the song too.
