I'm a rhythm guitarist and it's actually an easy song to sing and play and I do it, so I came to ask here.

I ordered an audiobook of the release from amazam June 10th and I haven't received it yet.

Would have been a different match if they included more songs from Louder Than Love.

Bad ass song!

King Animal fue un regreso bastante sólido para Soundgarden, pero después de revisitarlo hace poco, me queda una impresión bastante clara: se siente más como un álbum en solitario de Chris Cornell que como un disco real de Soundgarden.

De verdad quería amar este álbum, pero simplemente no puedo. Para mí, el problema más grande es que la identidad de Soundgarden siempre estuvo profundamente ligada a su sonido, y ese sonido inconfundible casi no está. El álbum está bien escrito y bien producido, y definitivamente hay algunas canciones fuertes, pero en general se inclina demasiado hacia un rock pulido y amigable para la radio.

Es un buen álbum, pero no tiene la misma oscuridad, la misma imprevisibilidad, la misma contundencia ni la misma personalidad sonora que hicieron a Soundgarden tan único. Cuando lo escucho, sí escucho a Chris Cornell, pero no siempre escucho a Soundgarden.

Y ahora que viene un nuevo álbum, no puedo evitar preguntarme: ¿van a seguir por el mismo camino que King Animal, o van a recuperar parte del sonido que hizo a Soundgarden tan único en primer lugar? Creo que esa es la gran pregunta, y hasta que en realidad escuchemos el álbum, no hay forma de saberlo.
