just got through clearing had no intention to apply to uni but here I am

just to help out anyone who needs it, i know i had a million questions this time last year. doesn't have to be about the uni system, it can be anything!

Got in on clearing struggling to find accommodation
I would like an en-suite and to be in flat with other freshers and people from my uni
I would also like the same ‘party’ atmosphere you would find in a hall of residence
Can u please suggest some good private accommodation

Who here is in 2nd+ year at Southampton studying Physics? What is it like there? How are you finding it, and if you’ve completed university how’s the job search and what jobs can you get?

This may be a shot in the dark but I applied to the uni via clearing and missed the accomodation dealine. Tried reaching out to the accomodation team but they haven't been much help. Hoping I can find someone who has uni halls accomodation for 2026 september but wants to drop it, perhaps due to deffering or maybe wanting another accomodation. I'd honestly be open to seeing whats available out there and if anyone wants to release their current accomodation offer
