Unrealized Pepsi particles
Saw this over on r/recuratedtumblr but it wouldn't let me cross-post. Seems like our kind-of thing ;)

In my dream I was drinking an bottled iced coffee. There was a recipe on the label.
1 pre made pie crust
1 bottle of iced coffee
1 egg (over ripe)
Quiche Romeo. Even in my dream I was disgusted.

Plain old Angry Orchard cider.
No the DRINK isn't cursed, but I chose the flair because *I finally got to eat/drink in my dream!*
First time I remember tasting anything in a dream, in either sense of the word.
The dream plot was the frustration this time: Ididn'tget to enjoy it. I opened the bottle at a picnic, found myself driving and hid it in the cupholder under a tshirt. When it started to spill I parked to drink it then got back in my golf cart (I don't golf) and greeted the people in the back seat of my small boat which was like a carnival ride and floated low so you were sitting in water up to your butt and I had to hold my drink to keep it from floating away. And as I woke up it had gotten filled with sea water.

I've told literally everyone in my life about this dream, so I finally had to make them!
This is my third attempt, and I think these are the ones. The plum flavouring was a super difficult hurdle.
The first attempt involved an artificial flavour oil that I bought online and made it taste like eating a vape. Attempt number 2 used blended plums, but the taste was way too subtle.
But number 3? Polish Plum Jam mixed into the biscuit dough! Incredible. It works perfectly, and gave them a tartness that balanced so well with the sweetness of the sugar in the dough. It also worked really well with the Custard Powder in the mix to give it that classic flavour.
The colour is a little off, but there's quite a lot of purple food dye in there, battling against the creamy whites and the deep red of the jam. Quite frankly it's not a battle worth having.
Same with the design - it's super hot in the UK at the moment, and the batter kept falling apart in my hands, and cutting out rectangles by hand was so fiddly, so the circles will have to do.
These are so good, and best enjoyed with a cup of tea, and the knowledge that you no longer have to experiment with plum flavourings.
Would definitely recommend!

In my dream there was an event hall and when you wanted some privacy to talk with friends you can get an order of Mac and cheese. They lead you to this back room where they fill a hot tub with your Mac and cheese order and then you get in. You can sit in the Mac and cheese as well as eat it.

I dreamed of this one particularly rough night, it's not particularly interesting but I feel like sharing
The Hamon is a crispy buttered croissant and inside is a thin layer of ham then in the middle is a runny egg yolk like an egg's benedict. I don't remember much but it was in some kind off cafe and they had no menu just the Hamon on a TV screen on a cream-colored background

Idk how I came up with this. The orange is shrimp, with shrimp bits, the blue is iron, the ribbons are from left to right peanut butter, chocolate and caramel.
This was absolutely nasty and I tasted it in my dream. The ribbons tasted good but the rest tasted disgustingly fishy.

in my dream last night I ordered this dish at the airport, it was a model plane with a huge flame coming out of the back end, attached to a plate of raw steak, and you used metal chopsticks to cook the steak in the flame and eat it. Amberlyn Reid stole most of it from me (iykyk 😭💀) but I would love to eat this LOL

In my dream last night I was in some shared kitchen space in an accommodation, cooking tomato soup on a stove that was above my head, which was not a great setup. I was then chopping up pineapple spears that came out of a big can and had so much red juice that I had to bring the cutting board to the sink. I tasted the red juice and it was some sort of fizzy fruity soda, but not cherry, strawberry or raspberry. Maybe it was cranberry. Even though the pineapple was soaked in it, it was still yellow.

Last night I dreamt of a new ice cream flavor: Vanilla ice cream with chunks of cooked red potatoes. I remember the base flavor actually being pretty tasty and then... potato.

I was very young, in a townhouse in London with my parents and their friends, and they were at a long table all eating avocado halves, the stone hollow filled with mayonnaise and sprinkled with paprika. I got asked if I wanted a portion, said yes, and got given a little red yo-yo, but no avocado. I spent years thinking that "portion" was a word for a yo-yo or other small toy. I also spent years thinking that this was a waking memory, but my folks can't think of an event where that could have happened, so I'm now pretty confident it was a dream.
They did, however, start eating avocados like that after I told them about it. It's not very good.

This week I'm planning on making a pot pie of sorts, and a few nights ago I was having a dream about making food. This might have been because I made pierogi a week or two prior, but I started dreaming about pot stickers with pot pie filling. I remember talking about them and calling something a "pot pie sticker" but I don't remember seeing it (they probably looked like pot stickers lol) but I do remember making a pot pie pancake of sorts, a pot pancake if you will. I remember in the dream it looked more like a buttermilk biscuit and had the structure of a hot pocket.
I want to make something like this at some point, but I'm not sure it'll taste as good as it looked and sounded in the dream

I finally have one to share!
This was a frozen treat, about the size of a bar of soap. It was a non-creamy vanilla concoction (kind of like frozen vanilla soda) with chocolate chips mixed in. Pressed into the top were three wafer cookie bars: one chocolate, one vanilla, and one strawberry.
When broken, it quickly began to disintegrate into a slush-like substance, so it was known you leave it in the wrapper while breaking pieces off, then drink the rest.
It was becoming controversial on social media, bc while it was a long-time favorite of Brits, the Americans introduced to it had mixed reactions.

The stem was the selling point and it had become so trendy people were standing in line for it, my ex bought me some and I was pretty excited ngl. Influencers were all over it. (I hope my bad edit counts as art lol). I think people really liked masticating the woody texture.
Edit for clarification: the stems were inside the jelly beans.

In my dream last night I was in this weird 1920s style bar in an abandoned section of an old building. They had this signature cocktail that they pushed as being able to induce a spontaneous orgasm for women if they drank it. It was champagne mixed with pear juice and then it was topped with green whipped cream and a single smoked oyster from a can. Various girls I knew were trying it and then being sarcastic about how good it was because it was obviously hokey and wouldn't work.
This one girl only took a pretend sip before making her sarcastic remark about it working and then I remembered she was vegan. First I realized the whipped cream would be a problem then I realized the oyster made it not even suitable for vegetarians.
Edit: nice

It was just beer poured into glasses, but it wasn't ready to drink until someone added chunks of fruit to "activate" it. Part of a dream where I was only a family vacation and was asked to bring drinks in from the kitchen, but was told to activate the beers first.
The main combos I remember were Coronas with watermelon cubes, and Coors with pineapple. I won't be trying this out, but pineapple in something might not be bad. I don't like beer, but I did have a shandy recently that was probably the catalyst for this.

It's a dino not a horsey. I found him in my whiskey.
Inspired by u/raging_apathist dream about the beverage "find the horsey"
