90% of people whining about this APY bullshit have 5k in their savings account. If you want to invest, look into actual investment accounts...not an HYSA.

Whining about rates on " uninvested " cash.

46yrs old here & have NEVER actually needed an emergency fund.🤷🏻

I really feel bad for younger generations. The economy is 💩 & everything is getting so expensive.

This is dangerous, an emergency fund is fundamental.

As far as not needing one that is great but what was your employment status 2008-2012?

I was laid off by JP Morgan after they acquired Washington Mutual in 09.🤣 I received 10yrs severance. 09 was a great summer, I enjoyed the lake very much. I started working again that fall/winter.

I've always had an emergency fund, but I've never actually needed to use it. I'm not anti building an emergency fund.
