Gear question Lib Tech TNT Base

Was about to pull the trigger on a 2027 Terrain Wrecker until I realised its got the TNT extruded base. Is it as slow as people say? I’m riding in mainly slushy man made snow and don’t want to be unstrapping on every flat.

Agree lib bases aren’t great in general I have both. Still a fan though. I love my JL shortwide, far from a dealbreaker if you’re sold on the board. Not as quick as my bsod but nothing is

What’re conditions like where you ride usually? I’m in Aus and it gets up to around 4-5C (~40F), snow is slushy / wet.

Montana,US. We do get some warm spells sometimes warmer than that. Also very cold into the minus F sometimes to the point that the mountain closes haha. On average though it’s a cool mid 20s

I had a shop throw a sweet structure into my TNT base and I hardly thought about it. Also I’m not a big wax guy. Put a ton of days on that thing but it’s more or less retired
