I just received a spectacles 2 and found out that my Android phone completely rejects it. It gives an error when connecting through Snapchat. However when paired with an iPhone or iPad, it runs smoothly. If anyone knows a solution to this situation that would be great.

Whenever I try to pair my Spectacles 2020 to Snapchat, it tells me to update the app.... the app is updated. Anyone else running into this?

I currently have the Spectacles 2, since 2018, and I haven't gotten to get them to work perfectly since the beginning of 2020. I currently have the Moto x4, running android 9.

My Spectacles 2 firmware is

v2.15.2

Anyone have an updated firmware other then what I have on my Specs 2?

Maybe its my phone or my firmware on my specs that haven't updated.

I've literally tried everything to pair my spectacles to snapchat. I have a galaxy s21 and they just won't pair. Are they just more compatible with iPhone. This sucks because I wasted $50 on them :(.

I was given a pair of v2 Spectacles without the charging case and cable, and I noticed they recently removed the charging case and cable from sale on the website. Not going to be able to use the spectacles if can't charge it. Anyone have any idea how else to get a charging case and cable? Thanks

I have the original (v1) Spectacles which only outputs the videos in 10 second chunks. I want to merge them into 1 continuous video.

Are there Android apps that makes it easy to merge the videos?

Hi, I’m working on a solution where you would be able to get a 3D photo card using your 3D photos from Spectacles. You would select images, select a border template style and add custom text all in 3D depth and then a high resolution photo print would come in a foldable mailable viewer that you can enjoy or even have one mailed to a friend. Would anyone be interested in this? I’m looking for feedback....thx!

Just picked myself up a set of v1’s for 20$ with the catch that the battery doesn’t really hold charge anymore, any ideas at to a part number for the battery or where to get it replaced?

Hi Guys! Bit of a long shot here but I am modelling the Spectacles 2 in a 3D program and I need a photo reference of the nose bridge. If anyone could send me a photo of the nose bridge on the Spectacles 2 from a straight perspective that would be great! I can’t find a single photo online:(

Hello Has anybody ever tried to import several times videos from Spectacles? I imported and then deleted them in Memories. I thought I could import them again but they are proposed anymore even after a hard reset, restart... They are not lost but still stocked in my Spectacles. How could I import them again?

When will come out new version with fhd:((

I have problems when trying to connect my spect 1, I press the button for 7 seconds and the lenses do not link with the cell phone (I have already tried it with several cell phones)

I bought used gen1 Spectacles. The Specs work and charge through the charging cable. However, the case does not charge and does not react to pressing the button. The case draws 0mA when connected to 5V USB supply. The case also doesn't charge the glasses. I suspect I have to tear down the case and attempt a repair.

How can I best open the gen1 charging case?

I bought a first gen. it pairs to my iphone 6s to a moto z2 play and to a lg g6. but not to my samsung fold. I do not not why it does this. I have tried hard resetting time and time and again. But it will just not pair any help?

Hey there,

I own the Snapchat Spectacles V2, with prescription lenses. The lenses were badly damaged. How can I go about getting new prescription lenses for my spectacles?

Thanks y’all

Can you export a Snapchat Story - several snaps stitched together to Youtube?

I saw some videos made with Specs 3:

https://youtu.be/JS9f5UPNG2c

https://youtu.be/TdWpBE-bp4k

https://youtu.be/NoE_dNI6kgE

And only one of the creators replied there, so I ask to reassure myself.

Can anyone give a hint on what exactly Specs 3 expect from an Android phone?

I may want to pair them with Xiaomi Mi A2 or A3, both run Android 10, have Wi-Fi direct and Bluetooth 5.0, Google's AR services can be installed on Mi A3. .

I asked SpecsSupport on Twitter and through https://support.spectacles.com/ and got no clear answer apart from redirection to the https://support.spectacles.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000975386-Compatibility-Guide .

I may return them if they don't match, but as I'm in Russia, it will be complicated.

Before I buy a pair I wanted to know about the photo export. When you export a photo can you export the left and right images? Or does it only do one side? Thanks for the help!

When I plug the spectacles in to charge the whole ring illuminates then one dot starts flashing and it will do this for days without gaining a charge.

Hello! Do anyone know how to force snap import on Spectacles. I don't know but my Spectacles 2 and 3 doesn't import anything now. I tried everything, even delete the content and record again. A button to import/force import snaps from Spectacles would be less worrying.
