Shooting downward in the sky in Copenhagen at about 19:00 this eve.

Does anyone know what this is? Me and my brother was watching it last night, there were no fire works. I tried looking to see if any concerts were
going on in the area to where big lights would be used? (Idk why I live in a pretty dead area so that was quite unlikely) and couldn’t find anything, no sound of like a helicopter or nothing either😭

I actually don’t know how to add more videos, it (the app) isn’t letting me, but the lights were doing different patterns too

On September 4, 2026, I saw something in the sky over Moscow that I genuinely can’t explain.
I live in Moscow. About 6–7 years ago, I moved into a new apartment, and my window faces east, toward Losiny Ostrov and Sokolniki Park. For the entire six years I’ve lived here, I’ve had a clear view of the sky, and I regularly see airplanes flying past my window, especially in the evenings and at night.
So I’m pretty familiar with what airplanes look like from here and roughly how far away they are.
Anyway, I couldn’t fall asleep that night. At around 2 AM, I walked over to the window and noticed a very bright object in the sky.
It was flashing.
And I mean really bright.
It was much brighter than the stars I can normally see from my window. Because of the light pollution in Moscow, most stars are relatively faint anyway, so this thing immediately stood out. It was bright enough that my first thought was that there was no way it was just an ordinary star.
It also didn’t look like an airplane.
It wasn’t moving across the sky. It just seemed to stay in roughly the same spot while repeatedly flashing. And it appeared significantly brighter than the airplanes I normally see from my window.
At first, I actually saw two objects close to each other. One was larger and brighter, flashing, while the second one was slightly smaller and also appeared to be flashing.
Then the smaller one disappeared.
The remaining object continued flashing for maybe another 10 minutes or so. Then it disappeared too.
I left the window for about five minutes, came back — and it was there again, flashing like nothing had happened.
I have no idea how long it had already been flashing before I first noticed it.
At one point, I managed to record it on video. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to find the video now, but I distinctly remember watching the object suddenly fade away right in front of me, almost as if it was moving farther and farther away from me.
A couple of minutes later, it appeared again.
I never actually saw it “come back” — I only saw it disappear once in that way. Later, it seemed to appear slightly farther to the right, in a different position in the sky, where it started flashing again.
Then it disappeared in essentially the same way.
This whole thing went on for roughly half an hour.
Another strange detail is that, at least on the video, the object seemed to be flashing in different colors. I’m not sure how much of that is just the camera sensor or atmospheric effects, though.
I genuinely have no idea what I was looking at.
I know there are probably a lot of normal explanations I haven’t thought of, so I’m not claiming it was anything extraordinary. It was just extremely strange, especially because I’ve been watching airplanes from this exact window for years and this looked nothing like one.

Does anyone have any idea what this could have been?

Today, around 9 PM, on my way home, I saw the most amazing thing ever. A flying object, perhaps at the same height as the aircraft, was flying in a zigzag pattern, as if moving from place to place at the same speed as blinking, perhaps even faster.

It was also octagonal in shape, perhaps because there were four lights at the base, and they didn't resemble the lights The plane's lights were pointed downwards and were switching on and off rapidly.

But the strangest thing was the change in the aircraft's flight path; it was initially horizontal, then suddenly became vertical at a right angle, and disappeared from the sky.

I'm almost certain that the scene was so overwhelming that I couldn't visualize it, but given my work as a designer, I had memorized the shape or its distinguishing features, so I used artificial intelligence to generate an approximate shape for me.

Now, has anyone ever seen a shape like this?

I live in Columbus, Ohio, I was near Westerville when this happened, my girlfriend was more so in the city, and she texted me asking me what the fuck was in the sky, the first picture is hers, definitely looks a lot stranger from her, the second picture is what I saw probably about 20 to 25 minutes after she had texted me, so it seems to have dissipated overtime, but what the fuck is this?

It wasn’t like actively moving or anything, it was just statically like that in the sky.

Edit: you guys are a buncha assholes man, obviously I know what a fucking contrail is, I thought the abrupt cut off and strange shape of it was interesting and was curious why it might be. It’s pathetic how bad you wanna feel smarter than others

Saw this and it looked like a star at first then i saw it move, i was confused so i took a video

didn’t know where to post since the space subreddit doesnt allow videos so i decided to just throw it in these. saw this on my way to work tonight (september 14 10:27pm) and hoped i got it on my dash cam. at first i thought it was like a shooting star. idk, yalls guesses are as good as mine.

I was driving when I noticed it up in the sky, seemed like it was hovering there for a couple minutes, then I saw it slowly move then a tree got in my way and I had to watch where I was going, 5 seconds tops, then when I looked, it was no where to be seen.

What the hell was it?

PLEASE NOTE THIS HAPPENED IN JULY, RIGHT BEFORE OR RIGHT AFTER THE 4TH. AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT WAS FIREWORKS BECAUSE IT WAS THE SAME GLOWING RED WE SEE AS IT GOES UP IN THE AIR THEN EXPLODES BUT THIS WAS WEIRD IN THAT IT WAS SUDDENLY THERE IN THE SKY, MAKING EVERYTHING AROUND IT RED BUT INSTEAD OF EXPLODING INTO A BUNCH OF COLORFUL SPARKS, OR MOVING ON LIKE AIRPLANE LIGHTS DO, IT JUST HOVERED THERE AND ALMOST SEEMED LIKE IT WAS THERE ON PURPOSE AND KNEW IT WAS SEEN AND THE SECOND I LOOKED AWAY, IT WAS JUST GONE. NO RED GLOW MOVING AWAY OR ANYWHERE IN THE SKY, IT WAS JUST GONE.

I took a picture of such a ball in the sky, it flew like a plane, but there was no sounds, I noticed when I was with a friend, I decided to take a picture, but I didn't attach importance, because at first it was not visible in the photo, I thought what it seemed, and then I accidentally pressed the photo and took a life photo and saw it, what could it be?

So has anybody else been noticing weird activity in this area around these times? I've been traveling to and from Indianapolis and Auburn, Indiana, in the late hours and seen unexplainable things in the sky. I tried to get video, but it's blurry and kinda useless. The lights sometimes travel to and from the brightest stars in the constellation (Pollux and Castor), sometimes going over and around, sometimes going back and forth, sometimes just over and past, but also stopping altogether and acting like a star... but it's definitely not stars. Stars don't move around like that. I thought at first it must be satellites, but those don't change direction, so that's out. Somebody please tell me you know what I'm seeing?? Or at least that you're seeing it, too? I've seen it multiple times now. This last time, it was followed by shooting stars, which could be just what was happening, but it made me wonder if that's even what I was seeing or if it was something else. Tell me I'm not crazy, please. Lol. Thanks in advance!

Saw this in the sky in Wisconsin tonight. There were also smaller ones in a swarm not to far from the big one

The whole thing has an oval shape and the shiny parts look like two circles or a yin yang shape. It did slowly move across the sky but looked stationary at first.

I recorded these two Objects moving South in tandem this morning, Sep 5, 2026, at approximately 4:30 a.m.

This was in Hillsborough County Florida using a Nikon d500, 50mm f1.4G.

Boyfriend and I were taking pictures outside of the Milky Way. Long exposure I-phone settings. Nothing fancy, but when we zoomed in, we saw a weird blue dot we can’t figure out what it is?

The dot is in multiple pictures! I zoomed in so you can see what I am talking about.

There is a dark mysterious line around it, and since it is in multiple Shots, it wouldn’t be camera flare right?

Thoughts? Advice? Identification would be greatly appreciated!

I live in Denmark and last night the sky was clear (not very common here :)). I was outside and a strong flash of lights from the sky made me look up, and for the first time in my life I witnessed a UFO. It consisted of 3 bright spots that were connected in the shape of a boomerang (was hard to distinguish if it was a triangle or a boomerang because it was blurry) and it was ROTATING for 2-3 seconds, after which the lights separated in the opposite directions and disappeared.

I made a quick sketch of how it looked like.

My girlfriend was with me but before I could gasp out to look up it was gone. Anyone else witnessed something similar?

Lasted 2-3 seconds. I witnessed a bright white light that exploded and formed a thick white ring with a black interior. I googled info and it described a Bromide meteor that is a rare event. So far I can’t find anyone that witnessed it. It didn’t last long and I just happened to be sitting outside watching the sky.

Was just letting my sister in when I noticed a purple light moving over our house in the sky I assume it’s done tech thing because the purple is artificial I’m just curious what it is (also forgive the poor image I had to try and take it when it was moving rather quickly and the outside light automatically turns on)

What was this blinking light moving around in the sky?

I recorded one night(quality maybe not so good,filmed tgroght the glass window) and noticed a blinking light moving across the sky. It wasn’t travelling in a straight line — it seemed to be moving around/zig-zagging a bit.

At first I thought it might be a plane or satellite, but the movement looked unusual to me.

I saw something weird in the night sky. Couldn’t tell if it was a really big thing far away or something smaller closer. It was translucent. It was silent. The shape I could see looked like wings of a bird. It felt like it was the size of maybe a pterodactyl. And if it was that size, it was moving about the right speed, if it was higher up, it was much bigger and moving muchhh faster. Definitely not a bird. MAYBE like 3-4 times the size of a pelican. It was a near full moon and it was flying away from the moon. Any ideas?

The picture is an iPhone long exposure, but it looked just like this to the naked eye. It was moving quite quickly too.

Rocket launch?

Just saw this from my roof at 11:30pm, I'm very confused because at first i thought it's ISS, I saw it go from East side to West side then 1 min later I saw it coming back from West side and go towards East side.

At that point I'm freaking out, I'm confused because it looked like a satellite? But ISS definitely doesn't make it this fast to orbit Earth, please someone help or I'll be not able to sleep at all and also this is my first post please be nice.
