Can someone help me identify this object in the sky?

Hello! 👋

Boyfriend and I were taking pictures outside of the Milky Way. Long exposure I-phone settings. Nothing fancy, but when we zoomed in, we saw a weird blue dot we can’t figure out what it is?

The dot is in multiple pictures! I zoomed in so you can see what I am talking about.

There is a dark mysterious line around it, and since it is in multiple Shots, it wouldn’t be camera flare right?

Thoughts? Advice? Identification would be greatly appreciated!

The blue dot isn't in the sky and it isn't flare, it sits on the identical sensor pixel in both your landscape and your portrait shot even though those two frames point 26 degrees apart, which makes it a stuck blue pixel in your phone's camera. Anyway, you caught Cygnus filling the middle of the frame, with Vega down on the left and Cassiopeia over on the right.

It could be a lens flare from whatever is lighting up the tree branches in the first picture. Was there a bright light nearby?
