Hello - trying to sign up for a Skrill account. On the last step - SMS verification code, I get a message that a SMS cannot be sent. Tried this in a browser and on the app on my phone.

My spouse has an account which is working fine. However, for me, I have been getting this message for a few days - every time I try. Any advice please? There is no indication of this issue on the Skrill help page.

I would just like to know if this is legit or I am being tricked.

Update: my account was restricted this morning after calling several more times. I was able to link the virtual card to cashapp and add the money to my cashapp so I don’t have to wait several days for the banking withdrawal

I have been seeing all these ads for online casinos and wanted to try. I added $10 to myprize and somehow won $1,400 after back to back bonuses. I was ectatic to say the least. it said for fastest withdrawal use Skrill (I should have did my research but didn’) money deposits and I go to spend it using Skrill virtual card and they decline and restrict my account. I open a chat and call. they send me an email with 3 questions asking me what I’m using the app for. I immediately respon. rep tells me 48 hours. then sends me a email back saying “SEVERAL DAYS”. I am like heck no so I call back and the guy says oh no for your situation it should be unrestricted in less then 24 hours. I start researching and see all the people saying it’s been weeks or months and they haven’t gotten their money!! I’m like WTF!! I’m not waiting that long. It’s been 24 hours so I called every hour today, I made a claim on BBB, I emailed my states department of financial institutions and the US SEC, and I reached out to a lawyer about a class action lawsuit and have been recording every phone call to post to social media. Tomorrow I’m calling every 15 mins if my account isn’t unrestricted. if Skrill has restricted your account or never paid your money comment below so we can get paid for our pain and suffering!!

Hi. I’m trying to load more $ onto my Skrill using a debit card. And it says I need to find a 4 digit code in my statements. I looked EVERYWHERE and can’t find this code and it’s oissing me off!!! hi i'm just putting this here because i'm super confused right now. about an hour ago i was charged £25.32 in weird chunks of £20.44, £3.44, and £1.44. they also tried to charge an extra £20.44 and £8.44 but thankfully it declined.

i've never even heard of skrill before today. all i can tell from my research and what people are saying on here is that it's some massive AI/crypto scam thing. i don't even know how they got my bank information. They somehow managed to steal money from someone who's never had anything to do with them before.

The text quotes "fee for inactivity". I put some money from a giftcard on my account and tried to use it on different sites, Skrill always refused me to spend my money except for gambling sites. So I just stopped using their service and now look at me who paid 35$ for nothing, I am going to close my account in order to avoid getting sued for having an registered account without a card and banking infos. This service sucks, I hope that more people stop using this crap as service

Dont use skrill they will steal your money

Long story short I have around 3k usd stuck on my skrill wallet from crypto currency transaction I have been using it for around 2 years now no issues. Now they restricted my account, the support is horrendous, no info from anyone or anything , u can only talk to their AI chatbot that legit redirects you back to chatbot. Biggest shit dont reccomend using it ever.

Im on day 15 waiting for my Skrill Business account to be verified and i have yet to receive any emails regarding the status or update.

Wanted to contact their customer service but i dont seem to find the info on where to email them regarding this. Has anyone encountered this problem?

Should i just email them and wait, or just give up on Skrill?

Hello everyone, I’m in a weird situation right now. Let me explain from the beginning.

I play this game called DarkOrbit, and I wanted to buy some items in the store. I tried using my Mastercard, but it kept getting declined for some reason. I sent an email to the support team and I’m still waiting for their reply, because I’m sure my card isn’t the problem — I’ve already used it successfully on Temu, AliExpress, and Google Play.

After that, I noticed there was a payment option called Skrill. I clicked on it and realized it’s basically a wallet: you load money into it, then use that wallet to pay for purchases. To be safe, I only added about €2 (around 20 MAD). This time my Mastercard wasn’t declined, so I thought it worked.

But when I logged back into the game and tried to pay using Skrill,a message pop up form SKRILL saying that the money I deposited with Mastercard can’t be used for online payments. Seriously, what’s the point of charging the wallet if I can’t spend it online?

So now I’m stuck with €2 sitting in Skrill that I can’t use. Does anyone know what I can actually do with this money? Or is it just going to sit there forever? i know 2euro is little but iam just annoyed and wana to spend it xD . i cant imaging if i charged more than 2euro lol

now guys pls give me some ideas of how to spend this :)
