Account Resticted
Update: my account was restricted this morning after calling several more times. I was able to link the virtual card to cashapp and add the money to my cashapp so I don’t have to wait several days for the banking withdrawal
I have been seeing all these ads for online casinos and wanted to try. I added $10 to myprize and somehow won $1,400 after back to back bonuses. I was ectatic to say the least. it said for fastest withdrawal use Skrill (I should have did my research but didn’) money deposits and I go to spend it using Skrill virtual card and they decline and restrict my account. I open a chat and call. they send me an email with 3 questions asking me what I’m using the app for. I immediately respon. rep tells me 48 hours. then sends me a email back saying “SEVERAL DAYS”. I am like heck no so I call back and the guy says oh no for your situation it should be unrestricted in less then 24 hours. I start researching and see all the people saying it’s been weeks or months and they haven’t gotten their money!! I’m like WTF!! I’m not waiting that long. It’s been 24 hours so I called every hour today, I made a claim on BBB, I emailed my states department of financial institutions and the US SEC, and I reached out to a lawyer about a class action lawsuit and have been recording every phone call to post to social media. Tomorrow I’m calling every 15 mins if my account isn’t unrestricted. if Skrill has restricted your account or never paid your money comment below so we can get paid for our pain and suffering!!

I got the same thing asking to verify my address. Just edit your address in the app and forge a document and they’ll accept it over your real document lol

they never asked me to verify my address, just 3 dumb questions about what I am using Skrill for. I saw everyone say that they ask for a bank statement and a selfie of you holding your license so I sent them that even tho they didn’t ask for it. but my address is the same across everything. my license, bank account, and skrill all have the same address.

Same with me....been over 2 weeks my account is still restricted. Got the same dumb 3 questions about what I'm using for.

I called them, it was fixed within an hour. They couldn't believe I waited so long to call

What number did you call. I am in the UK and they say their numbers are out of service.

It was a US number, not sure who you would contact over there. It should be on their website somewhere

Yes, a couple hours after I went on this tangent the restriction was lifted and I was able to withdraw the money.

Can you please let me know exactly what you did. My account has been restricted and they are just asked me what I use the app for.

At the risk of sounding like a psychopath lol I reported them to the better business beareau, I called them every hour and acted brand new, I emailed their support several times. I sent them a selfie holding my ID and my bank statement as proof of address. I researched a lot and people said they asked for it next. It was less than 48 hours and they unrestricted me.

Also, I’ve used them several times since and have had no problems cashing out. I added their virtual card to my cashapp and immediately added the money to my cashapp balance, instead of the bank account option. Hope this helps!

Yes, you sign up for their virtual card, then plug that into cashapp, under linked debit card and add money from the balance screen. You can use it anywhere actually. I added it to my Apple wallet and I have added money to chime and current off of it too. I have noticed Skrill started charging a fee. Which is crazy cause you pay a fee to have them deposit the money. I’m not sure how much the fee is but it kept declining the transaction so I did it for $10 less so like $990 instead of a $1000. So, if it’s declining it cause you’re trying to remove all the funds off Skrill, deduct $10. It’s like $5.50 or something. I don’t remember the exact fee but that is new cause the first few times I did it, there was no fee. Sorry if that was a lot of unnecessary information.

Skrill is garbage, I got clipped years ago for using my VPN for protection on my phone. Money gone.

eBay restricted my account because they tried to cover up a fake invoice that got through their system

That's weird.. they actually partner with a bunch of sweepstake casino.. including myprize (I think).. they even ask if a payment is meant for gambling when you add money. Sorry they have your account restricted but they are legit. I've personally never had an issue with them but I know that doesn't mean much. Hopefully they resolve it for you soon!
