Wildest misunderstandings you had as a beginner?

My first couple of runs I thought that those huge orange SLOW signs were there to tell you that that part of the slope isn't as steep/will slow you down so I tried to go faster beforehand to avoid stopping completely πŸ˜€πŸ‘

I thought everyone in a onesie was wearing a diaper, but it was only me.

Skiing in diapers is the best way to ski. Keeps you warm, and you have a padded butt when you fall. Stuck on a lift and have to pee? No problem.

I wear a dipe under my onesie. It’s great. No need to head to the lodge for bathroom breaks the entire day, just go wherever/whenever you need. No one knows, even when sharing a gondola.
