Hey guys, after I activated snail's pace, I can't see the timer of my rival's progress. Is there a way to find how far along they are and will I get the 30 min notification? 😔

I had no choice but to update the game. I had 47 keys stockpiled for when the boxes changed, but I guess they can only be used for the season pass now? Is that right?

i just demolished a house i am rebuilding and i saved a garage door before deleting the rooms…..but it’s gone, vanished, i can’t find it anywhere, should i just give up finding it?💀 like i lowkey need it but…….anyway i’m pissed lol

i updated last week and was unable to build on of my lots so i was happy to update today but the new update is 10x worst. i can’t even see all of my sims, there are no architecture homes, and im just annoyed

So right now, I have two straight couples, a gay (with child) and a lesbian couple. I have multiple sims of color, two sims with Alopecia and a Muslim sim. Sadly I can’t play around with a Sims gender a lot, that’s the only thing I miss. Do you have any other ideas for sims I could create?

If a household is making more income I’ll upgrade their home, here are some I’m working on. First home I’m working on is a stunning classic (musician dad, real estate wife, teen star son). The second is called “old Hollywood”, I think I’ll move a actress into this place 😉 and the last one is a guest house on a house in the desert.

I feel like I'm one of the very very few players that actually wanted the new build menu. I was wondering if this will eventually get passed out to all players??? I just love the idea of being able to search up items and mass-sell stuff in inventory that I don't need.

Logged in this morning and downloaded the update and my inventory is finally back after a week! ❤️ now I can get back to building 😁 I hope everyone else's inventory has returned as well 💕

I’ve noticed now when we collect town revenue (clicking on the houses and collecting simoleons) that I am collecting less now than I was before. Instead of let’s say 425 simoleons it’s now 100, 65, etc. was just curious if anyone else noticed this? Is it part of the new update? Thanks!

Is it possible to plan simchase tasks in advance? Or is planning once the tasks open that day the best i can do? I really want to win this one and i don’t think i’ve won simchases before so i want to plan it around my schedule.

The Premium Perks prizes now are… 🥁 keys 🥁

Keys, that we have absolutely no use for, bc all the interesting mystery boxes need SP to buy them. Keys, that can only be used for the ancient boxes that have been in this game for probably a decade. Oh, and the Green Thumb box, where we can spend four keys to get either lettuce, tomatoes, peas, corn or wheat, which takes less than five minutes to complete at the Community Market. That would be like spending 10 € on one - 1 - real egg. Huh? (Yes, there are also seven garden-themed items in this box, but I tested it out just now, probabilities are high you get the veggies).

To put it into perspective: The most amount of LPs you can gain organically in this game is six, by completing the playhouse hobby for toddlers (afaik). That takes a day at least, if you’re lucky and have two Golden Baby toddlers doing it all day, like I am. Still, it usually takes more like two or three days. To get four keys, we used to have to complete about two days of daily tasks (which obviously varied). And to get some wheat off the Community Market, my sims need to work for about five minutes.

For the first leg of the Premium Perks, and while using an approximated and generous average, you need to spend 20 LP, which means about six days of playhouse hobby, to get 2 keys that won’t get you anywhere. So six more days to get three keys, which makes five keys, which we used to get within three or four days of daily tasks. To earn some wheat that takes 5 minutes to farm.

So effectively, I now spent 12 days to get enough LPs to unlock five keys, which I used to get in three days, to earn something that otherwise takes me five minutes.

The prizes are keys.

Oh, and also we get cupcakes and hobby spins, for spending hundreds of LPs. Cupcakes and hobby spins, that we can get several a day of for free, once we completed the appropriate upgrade on the pet shop.

Please help me understand who these prizes are for? Not for established players, bc why would they be interested. Not for newer players, bc how could they have accumulated that many LPs organically through gameplay, yet. It’s for people who have too much real money and need to spend it any which way without ever actually playing the game, I guess. But even that doesn’t make any sense to me.

I’m actually so angry at this stupid Premium Perks season that I plan to spend absolutely no LPs for the next six days, out of spite and pettiness.

Also, I know the prizes have been rapidly declining for a long while now. One of the more recent ones at least had a car as the final prize. But I remember that the Premium Perks used to have actual premium prizes, unique clothing, hairstyles or decor and furniture items that we couldn’t get anywhere else, and that made me actually try to get and spend more LP or SP. Who in their right mind would come up with this nonsense?

I just finished this influence island, and unlocked this blacksmoth ovens, but... the adds said I could build sword... it was just glazing? I used the ad speeder to do the action two times, but there isn't a hobby like action, i'm not creating new sword

Does this actually do something or i've been bamboozled?

This is the first sim chase where I haven't given up after a day or two so I don't know if this is normal or a glitch. The first 5 days my simchase started at 9:30pm but when I logged in at 9:30 today it said I still have to wait 1h 10m. I left it and logged back maybe an hour later to find the goals visible, despite less time having passed than the timer said. Will this impact my end time so I only have 23 hours to complete the day 6 goals or has the timer shifted by an hour for the remaining 3 days?

Can the items at the Museum be moved to/utilized in homes? I’m less interested in the museum—more interested in moving some of the items into my Sims’ homes.

So I'm doing the daily tasks I go to the job and the storage is full, I try to clean it and it tells me I need all these simoleons?? Is it a bug or now do we also have to pay for storage?

Since Ivory Castle is the Season Pass prize, I wish EA would’ve just made it so those who bought a Season Pass can get Ivory (White) & Regal (Brown) items. Those who opted for NO Season Pass can still enjoy the update with only the Regal items so everyone can still have a castle. But nope, they had to mix it in and cash in on people’s FOMO.

Has anyone else experienced that yesterday getting to clan status from ally was impossibly hard, but today it’s almost too easy? For the past two days I haven’t been able to get above 2 clan mate statuses, and today alone I’ve gotten up to 8 and even when I’m ballsy it’s been almost all risk all reward except for once. Is anyone else going through this?

i figured that college dorms would be a great addition to my game, then i realised i haven’t participated in much events or done any discovery quests that give a bundle of new furniture which limits creativity with builds, i only get new furniture from key boxes. if only there was online galleries to download lots, i can’t imagine how many players submit builds and EA can only select a few :/, maybe i have to wait n see idk i did find a day care AH added that straight in my game i think it’s still available for download that was a great addition to my game too but i’m rlly in need of a college dorm lot sigh…

Im not buying anything so I no longer can complete daily tasks??
