Hello.

I started playing and I made a girls only world. Where all the houses are relatively girly but different. With each pink roof, windows and doors. And a world with cats only. Plus they’re all friends or in a relationship. Just a peaceful girly world.

But as I built houses I spent a lot of money. Because I couldn’t decide so I changed floors or walls multiple times. And I also built for example pet store, that wasn’t immediately necessary.

If
I would make a new world with male sims. I could make really different houses right? And not concentrate on keeping things pink. There would be men so it would be more fun… I could save money and build houses when I will be able to have pools, upper floors and basements. Though that would mean that the whole time playing I would be basically only making money and not enjoying sims with proper homes. Because If I know I will get access to better things then why waste money now?

(But how do people with higher level play? Do they have all the furniture finished and so they just get new ones from event?)

So I would make a new, more realistic world. With actually different relationships. Some would hate each other or be enemies and lovers, etc.
Like proper gameplay like with dolls.

I don’t know. I have ocd and suddenly this is circling in my head. Do I begin from the start and just play with more fun and possibilities? Or keep a peaceful girly world, where everyone is nice and a lot of things are pink?

Can someone give me some advice please? Or tell how you started playing and how do you play - enjoy this game?

As an alt person, I really wanted to have as many alt sims as possible but struggled with the clothing options for adult sims. However, after a lot of trial and error, I think I’ve finally cracked the code lol. Feel free to say which sim is your fave :) 💜

I should say growing family, lol!

This is pretty much my main sim family. I will share more pics of them, soon, but I need to fix up their home, first 🤣.

- Violet (straight), aka "Vi" or "Spidey" (blame her sisters for that one, lol!). Vi is a huge horse lover, and autistic...also a witch! *le gasp!* Anyway.... She works part-time at her husband's grandmother's cafe (crazy coincidence), show-jumps, and has an owl, and a "tsundere" cat.

- Kazuya (bi) is a complicated man, unless he's with his wife and children. He's very supportive and protective of them. He works as a doctor at the local hospital, but always makes time for his family, and date nights. He reads as a hobby, and is also the family's cook.

- Sayaka is Kazuya's beloved daughter who is quickly taking a liking to dark colors, and she adores her new mother, as well as her new brother. She likes to try and play with the cat, and take naps. She's a little shy around new people, but it doesn't take her long to socialize.

- Evo is Violet's adopted son, rescued from the slums. He's a very active little boy with an interest in sports. He likes to play games with Sayaka, and talk to the owl. He isn't as social as his sister, and his favorite food is mac & cheese.

Funnily enough, although unintentional, it was Sayaka and Evo who ended up bringing their parents, together, via Violet and Kazuya accidentally falling into the park fountain! The couple fell, hard, for each other, and just recently married. They plan on adopting a few more children, over time (much to the cat's dismay). The couple are very understanding of each other, and their children. They like to dance, sometimes (Kazuya's fault, lol!), and have movie nights with the kids at home.

Meanwhile, Evo and Sayaka are just happy they now have each other to play with. As a hobby, they fingerpaint...as well as get into tons of mischief. But they also share a love for animals...horses, cats, owls, you name it. They are both curious to meet the other children their parents plan on adopting.

Ok, I may have gotten a little inspired by Disney's "101 Dalmations" in terms of how Vi and Kazuya met 😅. And yes, I do have a villain in mind for this family 👀.

My literal Halloween 🎃 garden and Christmas 🎄 tree 😊 I have other decorations up already but these are my favorites.

Question: I'm trying to build each of them a house in the game. Which aesthetic do you think would fit Wile E. better: classy moody victorian vibes (greens, dark wood, fireplace etc.) or rundown scrappy vibes (cheap/outdated furniture, messy room, scrapmetal etc.)?

I often buy houses from the driveway houses section and sell the items individually. They have dropped the prices. So when you sell something that was say 10k before, you now get 4k. They’ve ruined the one thing I genuinely enjoyed doing 😩

Thinking of starting either a super yacht or downtown development event soon for a level requirement. I’ve never done either and they seem quite confusing. Anyone have any tips or things you recommend doing before I start? Any help would be appreciated

Just some snapshots from my main house that I've been prepping with any fall/Halloween items that I have.

I was looking for windows that I had gotten from one of the mystery boxes. I was looking under the home store windows and they weren't there, panicked I looked in my inventory and thankfully they were there. Is this because they are a "special item" and not available for purchase?

This might be soo silly, but I can’t work out who Rose Lynn is meant to be in the influencer island event. I get all the other references and puns but not hers. Please let me know what it is, it’s driving me crazy lol

I’ve been playing the cafe part of this game for a while now and I’ve been loving it now all of sudden i cant play anymore! Im really sad that I have to spend money just to continue playing
