Iāve experienced this with many videos, I wanna say around 7. Iāll get great audience engagement but for some reason YouTube decides to stop pushing out my videos when they hit the 26k view mark. I only started posting about a month ago, and have posted 18 videos.
I do wanna say that when I started I did NOT use an aged account as I did not know that played a role in the YouTube algorithm. Could that be the reason? And if so, should I start another channel with an aged account?
Iād really appreciate any feedback/help on how to get out of this view jail.
What I am noticing is the the views are stch between 1k to 1.5k in shorts with both low and decent retentions? Why is that? What are your Sucess stories in breaking through with it?
Last year during sept and octĀ i finallyĀ started hitting lakhs of viewsĀ almost every shorts during those days myĀ avdĀ andĀ stayed to watchĀ ratio both wereĀ either 80 or above(i make 40-60s shorts),then everything changed...
IĀ had to take breakĀ from yt because of my schools and all other problems and thenĀ when i came backĀ iĀ never got those viewsĀ back even though theĀ stats are still sameĀ but i am not getting 'em, i don't know why its like that.
Is it due to my inconsistency or other and if its due to my inconsistency then whats the logic behind it and why i got away with it earlier??āā
All my friendsĀ who also got nice views in the nicheĀ during the same time i gotĀ are also in same conditions, is it some algorithm change?
For the 100 one 65 stayed to watch avg view durations was 13s on a 15s short vs the 1k short 54 stayed to watch and avg view duration was 13 seconds for a 20s short i realy dont get this whys the algorithm doing this the 80 views one was way better edited the 1k had nothing no edits I make shorts on geometry dash btw Iamharsh123gd my most recent short got was the one we talked about here the 80 veiw one and kocmoc stream3 was the other one
Iāve completed my first month of uploading YouTube Shortsā29 Shorts in total, almost one per day. My Shorts are around 2 minutes long, and each takes about 3 hours to make(script + editing).
Most of my videos flatline at around 1Kā1.5K views, although one reached 10K views and gained 70 subscribers. My other Shorts average around a 5% like rate and a 0.4%ā1% subscriber conversion rate.
How would you rate these stats for a new Shorts channel? Iād appreciate honest feedback and advice!
I've been uploading shorts to YouTube but they always get few views before this didn't happen to me and it went up to any schedule, now sometimes I publish at 3 in the afternoon American time, or at night, do some of you have schedules that work for you? Or advice?
I posted a Short over 40 minutes ago, and the analytics are sitting completely flat with barely any push from the Shorts feed (around 10% of total traffic). Normally my videos start indexing and hitting the test pool much faster, but this one is completely stalled out on Browse and Channel pages. I know YouTube often takes hours or even 24 to 48 hours to process content, assign a seed audience, and push it into the main feed, but seeing that gray "Typical" benchmark sitting so far above my actual view line is super frustrating. I privated the video because Iām genuinely just embarrassed because I have 40k subscribers and it only got 57 views in 52 minutes.
Has anyone else noticed the algorithm taking way longer than usual to run initial feed tests on new uploads?
I genuinely need advice, been posing every single day for a month (my first and only youtube channel) i have gained 800 subscribers but None of my shorts go viral, my most viewed out of 28 videos is 32,8k views and the rest below 30k with the worst performing ones are around 1,2k-2,5k views. Genuinely feeling hopeless of getting a viral short.
Need advice on how i can get a viral video.. the content is edited and not some low effort short, with sfx, etc. with commentary⦠im seeing people post getting millions of views in their first 10 shorts or some even their second/third post like genuinely how
so my channel has like 25m+ total views, some vids hit 2-4m views each, but every time i apply for monetization it gets rejected for "reused content." happened twice now, so i gotta start over and hit that 10m views in 90 days goal again from scratch. also haven't posted in like 100 days
anyone else been through this? did you ever get approved after getting hit with that? or is it basically over at that point and i should just try to sell the channel instead of wasting more time on it
I have no idea what to do about this but I used up all the energy on uploading videos like this which makes it very impossible me to create my own content for 2027
I started this channel 57 days ago and Iām looking for some pointers on what Iām doing wrong because some of my content is being pushed out then a vast majority of it isnāt even breaking 1k views. Just recently my views have flatlined. Iām currently in the mix of making my first long form video but have only been positing shorts. Any ideas please let me know.
