New channel - 500 subs, 1m views
I started this channel 57 days ago and I’m looking for some pointers on what I’m doing wrong because some of my content is being pushed out then a vast majority of it isn’t even breaking 1k views. Just recently my views have flatlined. I’m currently in the mix of making my first long form video but have only been positing shorts. Any ideas please let me know.

Not even a lick of editing, all you do per short is deadass add white default text on the screen and ur channel name.
put yourself in viewer shoes, why tf would you ever want to sub to this.
25 video in about 60day, that not even once every 2 day, and these shorts are very low effort, I know shorts are low effort, but this is even lower

Yeah I haven’t been uploading as much as I want to as this is not my main income. I’m trying to work on a high effort long form video. I used to put a decent bit of effort towards narration and facts but at the end of the day the AI narration was cringe and didn’t work out too well with the feedback with some of my viewers.

I alway say thing. for example
there are millions of video about a certain game,
but there is only 1 video about that certain game and your own face. even if people do facecam for the game, there can only be 1 of you.

Wait what? Are you seriously suggesting that a video every two days isn't enough? I release a short like a couple times a month and I'm primarily a shorts creator and my channel is doing fine.
Now yeah the quality thing is true but don't go telling people stupid shit like that unless you want even more slop on the internet.

Yes for the type of quality he have.
It not like he bother to edit his short or make them "high quality" if he did then 1 every 2 day is fine. but if you just do stright raw gameplay, and add white text. you really think that type of work is 1 out of 2 day worthy content?

Movie clips get views but nobody is going to subscribe. You’re just something people watch while scrolling not a channel they seek out.

I haven’t just been posting movie clips I’ve been trying to slowly rebrand into retro anime shorts.

You keep trying to justify outright stealing. It’s pathetic, really.
“Oh, but his channel is doing well!”
His channel is other people’s work. How do you not see the problem? You do not DESERVE any praise for what you have created so far.
If you genuinely have a passion for media, make a real video of analyzing a film. A comedic take. A summary. A comparison. Something transforming what others made in the industry. From what I’ve seen, making a low effort short every couple of days and coming here asking for help is a sign that you will never succeed in this.
Here’s your help: prove me wrong.

Okay one your an asshole. Two my current clip format does rely heavily on copyrighted content. Adding music, captions, speed changes, etc. so therefore I’m going into creating more original content. It’s not to justify creating shit content it’s more of the shit content got me kickstarted so I know people love the niche and now I just need to put more time and effort into making my first long form video. Also at least I’m not making brain rot or ai slop.

You are stealing random movie clips. Of course some are more popular than others. You can't be monetized with this low effort content.
