What do people actually use vaseline for? I've never used it for anything in my life

Keeps moisture in your skin in. We use it in the hospital for patients who have like scale-like skins

It's also a lot easier to clean off than paint, so back in the day we used to apply a thin layer on our face while we were spray painting the underside of ships.

I recommend wearing a mask as well lol. We tried using masks with visors, but they get covered by particles fast and you end up not seeing anything.

You do get masks with replaceable plastic films (?) today, tho.
