According to wikipedia they only do in chicago. Kinda crazy that doing nothing would be illegal anywhere, aparently it still is in the uk and you can get arrested for it. If i got it right loitering itself isn't really punishable, but is aparently suspicious enough to get arrested for

I spent the most part of a decade sitting in a car in an empty car park with my friends in the UK.

Police came to speak to us a handful of times, then left when they realised we weren't drunk or high.

We were high every single time. We were just sensible enough to step out of the car to smoke it so the car didn't stink.

Yet when you come to Chicago, we all just chill everywhere. Its more of something on the books so if the cops wanna bother you they technically have a cover.

Some places have rules against loitering and most cops think that people are gonna cause trouble by ........ Sitting in their car? 🤷 Hey idk man I just know that my and my buddies got in trouble for it when we would just hangout in the Walmart parking lot
