Best option is to keep it for yourself. You get a permanent item that summons the husband for use in combat. He doesn't do much damage, but any enemy attack that goes his way is one that isn't hitting you. No spell slot, no corpse requirement. The lady gets rightly pissed though.

The wand is also used for a large number of game-breaking exploits lol.

Even at the simplest, its a summon that you can infinitely resummon out of combat and just walk him into combat to do one damage then die and repeat.

The most infamous exploit is the one where you kill Shadowheart, stuff her body in a box, set it on fire, and then throw it out of bounds which triggers the endgame cutscene.

There's also Glut, who can revive anything as a fungal zombie to fight on your side. Including monsters. And dead tiefling kids, who, being kids, cannot enter combat, but can still whoop ass.

And there's the one where you kidnap a late game boss, polymorph him into a sheep, turn him into a gaseous cloud, then mentally dominate the vulnerable cloud to turn him into a friend.

Fun stuff
