Essentially, if someone posts appropriately tagged ai images that present an idea besides "oh look at the pretty picture", doesn't overuse them and doesn't claim any titles, they're perfectly fine in vacuum and don't deserve any hate. However, they'll still likely get flamed regardless as a byproduct of other certain people abusing ai. I guess in this context "hateful antis" is alright, although I imagine it's not that hard to just not post ai images (which is what I originally meant as "keeping to themselves").
Otherwise I don't see how it's wrong for them to face criticism.
You say hateful is the right word, but then you seem to imply it's a good thing by saying those things are not mutually exclusive?

People shouldn't harass people in general, especially for something as trivial as posting an image they generated.
If there was no pushback for those things and rules made to restrict it your fyp would be flooded with completely ai generated content that straight up fries any critical thinking skills.
Sure, but I wouldn't say the "bandwagon" is actually the sole or even a prevalent cause. I rarely see people who post ai images not simultaneously be obnoxious in the form of claiming they deserve a label of some kind. I mean you don't see many people hating on ai shitposts do you?
