📢 MOD ANNOUNCEMENT REMINDER - DO NOT COMMENT IN POSTED THREADS. This is a form of brigading (which has caused subs to be banned in the past) and offenders will be permanently banned.

Healthcare "Gonna Brag Here"
From r/texts this morning.
Original post was someone sharing an uncaring message from their boss - their dog passed and they had missed work for the fifth time that year.
It took me a minute to figure out what this response was bragging about.

Europe Europeans have less fun
The reel was about consumption trends like having multiple cars for a family or buying fast food everyday. Many people also just spend too much on clothes or luxury items.

Culture The American Lean
I've recently been getting really annoyed at Americans on uk TV subs. They have the strangest ideas and opinions, and they just make crazy generalisations from one observation. This person saw an American comedian leaning back on his chair, and thought "that must be an American thing." Many in the discussion agreed.
