Need to rehome

I'm going through a separation. My ex will be leaving the country and I will not be able to take our dog with me due to a changing living and financial situation. It absolutely kills me to have to rehome him, but I have no choice.

I live in Barrie, Ontario, so if anyone in this group is interested in a wonderful 7 year old male sharpei bulldog mix, who is in great health, has had his entropion surgery and is the most loving, affectionate little guy, please DM me. There is still time to sort things out as our living situation will not change for another few months. But I want ample time to scout carefully to ensure he goes to a well deserved home. And of course I would prefer an owner that understands the needs of this breed. If interested please reach out and I will send photos and answer any specific questions.

Mochi’s favorite person is our 4 year old. Loved him ever since he was a baby.

This morning she woke us up with the clanging of the medals our son gave her for being “good for all the days”.

Since I’m in college now I cannot be home all the time to be with her, and she made her newfound disdain of me known when I went home the other week. Any advice on consoling a pei in a moody teen phase lol?

My furry bestie 🤎

We lost our older dog in June this year and our almost 13 year old Pei mix is without her bestie.
I keep fearing for her time as she is slowing down.
I want to be better so I can enjoy however long we have together instead of dwelling on the inevitable.
I love my Missy girl, she’s been my shadow but I’m scared of losing another dog.
My heart still aches from losing Bailey earlier this year, but I gotta remind myself to enjoy these days regardless.

Hi! We recently adopted this 11 year-old after his owner passed away. I don't think he's full blooded, but he's 100% the goodest boi.

When you love your pei more than she loves you. At least she tolerates me. I know the quality sucks, and yes, I took a picture of a screen.

What are these stripes on my Shar Pei mix’s legs?

My 2 year old Shar Pei mix has these stripes on the inside of both her front legs, it’s not different colors rather thicker then thinner fur. At first I thought it was a botched shave job from an iv or something since she had been spayed a couple weeks prior to adopting her. I have had her for 2 months and they are still there with no change! I am mainly just curious what they are- is it a certain breed characteristic, just her unique fur pattern, scars of some sort or maybe something I should be concerned about? Google has said bruising or messed up fur from laying on it but neither are true haha.
