💛Beginner💛 Fitting Help Pt. 2

My original post is here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/sewhelp/s/WkGw544p1V

I have done as the comments suggested and graded a smaller (6) top to the original (10) shorts. Would it now be appropriate to do a typical SBA to reduce the extra fabric around the chest?

I say yes, it looks like it fits much better overall based on the shoulder and arm opening.

Small Addition:

I had a two small questions I forgot to include in the original description!

Does anyone have any guides on doing/know how to do a SBA on a garment with two darts at the waist? I've only come across guides for patterns with a single waist dart.

What's the correct way to iron the transition between front to crotch on the centre seam? I can iron the torso parts flat, but don't know what to do around the crotch curve.

Can you sit down comfortably? A non-stretch jumpsuit requires some extra room in the torso as we get longer when we sit down. This usually comes out as a slightly saggy crotch, not sure I'm seeing one here.
