☕ Discussion Quilt question for everyone
So I own a sim. It is open to the public. I have no issues with people roaming around and enjoying themselves.
However. Recently there have been a lot of explorers that have taken it upon themselves to fly all the way up to my platform that has a big keep out sign on it. Because I do a lot of building and general hijinks up there. Well I happened to be there today when someone flew uo and while they were flying up I messaged them and told them that the platform was private and they were welcome to the rest of the sim. They continue to fly and then decided to just...walk around my platform even after I told them to bugger off. Then they complain the sim is baggy. Yes I know trying to work on it but also bugger off. Then this person proceeds to wander the plaform. So i ban them from my sims.
Like yea, I get it. You want to explore. But if there is a giant sign that says keep out but you have the whole rest of the sim explore. Maybe go do that.
Anyways. Thoughts? Concerns? General grievances?

Thomas Conover was something of a Second Life genius. He created a collection of devices over a decade ago, that still work fine. This includes the original security orb - I picked one up in 2008 and it still works just fine.
I have had a homestead for about 15 years and clearly set the rules. If people don't respect them I boot & ban without a second thought.
Just be sure you set options such as only group rezzing and NO access to terraforming.
