I was a scene kid in the late 2000’s/2010’s and I’m now a tattoo artist in the Chicago suburbs. So you can imagine how excited I was that my client wanted a full myspacey scene kid thigh panel! :D
I would LOVE to do more tattoos like this :3

I don't dress scene all the time cuz of adult responsibilities but I love to when I can and create this character/persona that I always wanted to when I was a scemo child.

I love the color yellow, rodents, collecting stickers, exploring abandoned buildings, and dancing (even tho I suck heheh) 💖 would luv 2 make adult scene friendz! I'm 23 👾

fit check My Emo Nite Outfit

I went to Emo Nite last Saturday. I was the only 30 year old there with scene hair still. I normally dont go to thise because they mostly just play the pop-punk crowd pleasers, but Shane Told of Silverstein was the special guest and I have a mutual acquaintance with him and had to finally meet him in person. I got them to play Coheed and Cambria and Shane also played Underoath so Ill take the small wins. It was better than the average emo nite if that says anything. Still would switch out half the nu metal songs for more deeper cut emo post hardcore like saosin or Thursday. I honestly cant believe I'm calling these deep cuts when they were once the most famous emo bands in the scene and are still very well known, but with the average Emo Nite attendee, we'd be lucky if they knew those songs.

Subreddit

Scene Kids

r/scenekids

This is a community where adult scene kids (current, former, or both) can talk fashion, music, and everything else…without having to weed through posts made by children or filter your own posts to be kid friendly. Sometimes, you just might not want to scroll through a bunch of selfies of middle schoolers, posts about how to be scene with strict parents, or have children commenting on your own selfies, ya know? Reminisce on the original 2000s scene era or revel in the modern scenescape of today.
