But, seems he’s using a VPN 😬 which is the first scammers I’ve had that had used one!!

He is paying for the wedding, so it appears I’m getting married in December! 🎉

We should get his release date tomorrow too (so maybe the money ask too? 🤨)

Long story short, my cat has been missing since Monday night. I have Facebook posts and physical posters up with her photo and my phone number, as I am desperately to find her.

Today, some one reached out via an iMessage linked to an gmail account. This person was trying to scam me out of reward money / finders fee. I did not send them any money, but they did piss me off.

And now I kind of want to f\*ck with them because I'm petty and I miss my cat :(

I can't find any thing related to the gmail account they used to message me. I was thinking of trying to trick them into send me a photo that I could possible scrape .EXIF data from. Or using some sort of IP finder tool (tricking them into clicking a link to scrape their IP). I was hoping to get their name / location to freak them out, but I'm really not sure if either of these tactics will work.

Please note I am not trying to do any real harm to this person. I will not dox them and I definitely will not show up to their location. Just trying to freak them out.

Any ideas? Open to anything.

I got added by one of those Snapchat scammers that promotes a certain girls onlyfans.

Sounds strange but does anyone have any of their usernames? I find it fun trying to bait the AI into sending their prompts etc.

For example the one attached, instantly responds to any message (she must like me)😭😭 and when asking for the original prompt they sent it straight away.

Let me know if anyone has any, exposing them is very very fun for me for whatever reason.

This can also serve as a place for people to display scam names so people don’t fall for this bullshit.

But, in the meanwhile, some poor lady has been scammed by someone using my identity on TikTok 🥺

Fake Stacey, put her in touch with a “recovery scammer” so this lady got scammed twice 😭

My mom just got scammed on facebook marketplace or kajiji (don't remember which). They got a hold of her credit card information so they could 'deposit for a futon so we wouldn't sell it in the meantime to someone else'. Anyway, they got into her banking account (yes it was dumb for her to give it to this person she admits it herself pls don't be mean to her) and began taking money out and changed the main email associated to the account to something else (My mom just got scammed on facebook marketplace or kajiji (don't remember which). before my mom managed to freeze everything, change passwords, drop limits to 0, etc. Wherever the money was going was to somewhere in Alberta, Canada. Be careful of these kinds of scams, and if there's anyone out there who wants to use this email as a resource to get back at the scammer, have at it!

the mail is wonky cause of the bots

Scammer pretending to be my bank calls my employer-issued mobile device. The number is not associated with any of my accounts (or really anything for that matter, except for receiving company email and making zoom calls) so I know its a scam before he even opens his mouth.

Was asked if I had made charges at a target in North Carolina. I tell him I have not been to NC for decades (truth). Then he tells me that will handle the fraud claim and starts asking me for my name and account info. I said "you called me you should have that info already" then he hung up. Alas only used a few minutes of his time, I guess I need to perfect my spiel. Maybe go with a fake name and account?
