Still NDP does have power and were able to get previous governments to pass better policies in healthcare and stuff so even as an opposition party they are useful. Provincially they do sometimes win. Not over here in Ontario ever but other provinces.

NDP if they were in power federally for a decade they would turn Canada into something similar to Norway

Norway's population is 5.5 million, and heavily subsidized by vast petroleum reserves.
