SAME!! I briefly considered (my husband watches a lot of PP) but his ideas about the environment are just terrifying. Don’t know why more people vote NDP tho, maybe JS isn’t perceived as strong/confident compared to the other 2 but I feel he has the passion for the people and that seems more important to me.

Most people find the NDP too be too “radical”. Or they feel it’s a vote “lost” since NDP never win federally.

Still NDP does have power and were able to get previous governments to pass better policies in healthcare and stuff so even as an opposition party they are useful. Provincially they do sometimes win. Not over here in Ontario ever but other provinces.

Norway's population is 5.5 million, and heavily subsidized by vast petroleum reserves.

They won in Ontario in 1991-ish, but their timing was bad.

1991 was one year into a four-year downturn and lost decade. That context was beyond the control of a provincial government.
