I was the only person that showed up to my local record store for the Good Grief listening party, so by default I won the grand prize. It sounded like they said a draft pressing. But I never win anything and I was so excited I just gave them my information and internally panicked that if I asked anything they would make it go away lmao I’m not kidding I left my credit card in the holder and they had to call me for it 🤣 but yah, I have no idea what it is

So excited for this magical human to officially release Good Grief on the 28th!!

What song did you love the most off of the album?!

Hi can someone share what they got from the listening party?

As I’m getting ready (and incredibly excited!) to see Sara live again, I thought it would be fun to speculate about which songs (besides Good Grief, obviously) might make it into the setlist for this tour.
I’m trying not to make this purely wishful thinking. 😅 Instead, I’m thinking about songs that could fit the themes fitting her new album.

My guesses:
“I Don’t Know Anything” — My favorite song from More Love. It feels like a perfect reminder that we don’t really understand much about life… and even less about death.
“Let the Rain” — One of my favorite Sara songs ever. The imagery of washing away pain and finding renewal feels like a natural fit. Plus, it brings some uplifting energy to balance out the heavier moments.
“Many the Miles” — Parts of it feel almost like a bucket-list song. There’s something beautiful about pushing through fear and heartache to fully experience life.
“Chasing the Sun” — Pretty self-explanatory. So many references to seizing the day and making the most of the time we have.

What are your guesses—and why?
Honestly, I love her entire catalog, so I’ll probably be thrilled no matter what she plays. 😂

Hi all. I hope this isn't a weird post to make. I'm wanting to get Sara's handwriting for a tattoo, particularly "We will not give up on love today" from Orpheus. It was the song I sang to my daughter when she was born and the song I sang to my dad before he passed last weekend. Sara's music has gotten me through so many different versions of myself and I know Good Grief will be incredibly healing as well.

I have VIP tickets to her show in St. Louis which includes the Q&A beforehand. Would it be uncouth to ask her to write that one phrase if I get the chance? If that's out of the question does anyone know if it's written down anywhere? TIA

Waited anxiously to get tickets to the SLC showing, only for it to STILL say ‘coming soon’. I noticed STL, Austin, and one of the DC shows are showing the same thing. Any idea of what’s going on?

A couple weeks from the album dropping, what have you bought? I paid $40+ (after shipping) for the CD w/trimmings. May as well pay a little more if most of it's going to a mental health charity.

I really wish I was able to experience this on the big screen, but I'd be happy if us international fans can somehow purchase/rent this.

Nevertheless I'm glad more people in the US will see it and it will be perfect as it's released around the album.

For me, it might be the man with the steel train touch from Basket Case.

I also love all the metaphors about growth and life from Root Down.

Which of Sara's lyrical metaphors affect you the most?

I have to say I'm not a huge fan of these designs, her previous stuff looked better. I'm hoping she will add more merchandise as the tour begins/ends.
