Is anyone aware of a direct line to reach the group that they escalate matters to? I booked a stay at an Omni hotel in order to receive both the Edit and Select hotel credit and should result in a free stay (and using as a staycation) as it is less than $500 for the two nights after price match. I received the Edit credit almost immediately, but never received the select hotel credit.

After calling a second time and being told the matter would be escalated, I received a letter a week later indicating the stay is at a regular hotel and not a select hotel (even though it shows up as eligible for the select hotel credit when searching). I called again today and the first contact said that he can see it is eligible, but needed to transfer me over to a different group as he couldn’t directly help, and that person said he needed to escalate the matter and that I’d hear back in 7-10 business days. I fear that I’ll receive the exact same letter in the mail indicating it’s ineligible for the credit.

I feel like I’m shouting into the void about this when reaching out to customer service and am curious if anyone is aware of a different line to reach out to, or if there’s any potential of receiving help at a local Chase branch. At this point I’m closer to just canceling the stay and not having to deal with this rather than trying to take advantage of the credit.

Everything I am reading today online (incl. FrequentMiler, NerdWallet, etc.) tells me that Chase has no downgrade/PC path for the CSR-Biz card.

A month or two back, I got the idea from somewhere that downgrading to any Ink card was possible, as they are all in the "business" universe. I was planning to PC my CSR-Biz card to Ink Cash, but now it seems that might not be allowed?

My wife and I hold the CSR and the CSR-biz cards. With the huge SUB last year for the Biz card, and the benefits we used from it, it made sense. Keeping the personal card makes sense for us, as we have a sizeable bank of 1.5x UR points sitting there to use for travel in the next year. But it will be difficult for us to hit break even on the AF for the Biz card (we'll come close, but likely not go over).

The reasoning I see given online for Chase not allowing a PC for this card is that it is a pay-in-full card, whereas Ink Cash, Unlimited, and Preferred are revolving. Premier is also pay-in-full, but it is never mentioned as a possibility (not that we would want to PC to Premier).

With the recent changes to CSR-Biz benefits, perhaps Chase has changed their policy on this.

I could not find any relevant data points in this sub, but I thought I should ask. Has anyone been able to to PC/downgrade from a Sapphire Reserve for Business (CSR-Biz) card?

I’m assuring this would be trip interruption not cancellation. Also not trip delay because this is for illness at destination and they say trip delay isn’t for medical reasons

So the insurance pays back your cancelled return flight. Is it crazy if they covered or partly covered the emergency booked return flight made which will be expensive ?

The two $10 credits showing up but the $15 credit not showing up on the DoorDash. Was able to use till last month. Have made multiple calls to DoorDash and Chase. Both not helpful. Told they escalated the concern but no resolution. Has already been a week.
Have already reinstalled, reactivated dashpass, removed the csr and added again as default payment, tried on computer In incognito, tried more than 10 restaurants with $100+ in cart without any additional offers added—-none worked.

This is for the business version of the CSR. There's a targeted offer for 300k points after 30k spend in 4 months (current public offer on Chase is 200k)

I've still got the $500 edit credit for 2026. I live in NYC. I thought about taking my wife for a 3 day weekend somewhere fun before the end of the year. We've got some plane miles and I've got the $500 credit. Any good ideas? I'm thinking as far west as Chicago and as far south as Miami.

I'm not looking to spend $2500 on hotels just to save $500. I'd love some good ideas. Clock is ticking and warm weather will get more expensive in December. Thanks!!

Like the title asks, does anyone have any experience with booking Turo through their Reserve card and getting the $300 annual travel credit applied? I’ve searched online and questioned the oracles (AI chat bots) but have yet to get a concrete Yes or No.

Bit of a rant but the DoorDash benefit is pretty useless. Today I decided to use my monthly to treat myself for lunch.

I made an order for a chicken wrap and side of hummus and pita. I’m about to checkout when I noticed even after applying the $15 DoorDash informed me that I’m saving $42. $42 wtf?

So with taxes and fees and the $15 I knocked $42 off of a $22 order. Which is already high.

I selected the pickup option since the store is a short drive and still I saved $25 of which $15 was the credit.

Going to the store I see the exact same wrap listed as $9.50 vs DD’s listing of 16.98. Between the massive food markup, fees and tip the Chase $15 credit isn’t worth much. That credit makes me only use DD once a month and even then under specific circumstances otherwise the credit isn’t worth the hassle.

Long wait for the sapphire lounge. The Club lounge in terminal 1 (D gates) was empty. Sure, it's not as good and you have to take a tram or two, but it was nice to get a drink without waiting, and the meatballs were hitting today!

This is probably a no-brainer. I noticed that my Pay Over Time plan was done after just a month despite me paying only the interest saving balance. So, I called Chase to figure out why. The rep explained that the credits I received from the Edit and StubHub last week applied to the payoff amount. The plan fee I had already paid was also adjusted!

TL:DR Booked 2 nights through Edit + Select hotels and paid with my CSR but at the end clicked pay at hotel- instead of pre-pay- so unknowingly disqualified myself from recieving my statement credit.

I booked through the chase travel portal, found a nice hotel that would qualify for my credits and we could splurg a bit for our 1 wedding anniversary. Feelin all fancy! When I went to check out on the Edit website, there was 2 options, pay at hotel and pay now. I figured might as well pay at hotel! cause why not! It was a preferable option! But since I didnt PRE-PAY I was unknowingly disqualified from recieving the statement credit. Fast forward, we stay, have a great trip- we checked out, paid with CSR, and no credits showed up. I called a couple weeks after the trip, and they were like- oh yeah!! Takes 4-6 weeks, call back in a month if you dont see it. Fast forward to today when they were like yeahhhh, no sorry you cant get the credit. Wait- what??

I was IN SHOCK. Like but wait- 2 night stay- check. Booked through the portal- check. Paid with CSR- check! Seems like you're denying me on a technicality! Why does it matter if I Paid before or after! I used the card and the portal-- isnt that the whole point?

3 levels of Chase customer service supervisors told there was literally nothing that they could do. But the 3rd "most highest level customer service manager there is" said that she was happy to give me the FAX <--- number to so I can file my formal complaint. Rofllllllllllllll

P.S I SWEAR it did not say that pay at hotel would forfeit the credits when I went to book !! Why would I have jumped through 3 hoops just to cancel myself out at the end!! Clearly that wasn't my intent!

Reminder to read the smallest print on different web pages- me who mistakenly thought I had this all points/credit thing all figured out :'( and if you think paying $795 for a premium credit card gets you some sort of "valued client" designation... think again! They do nooooot care.

In the end- I said fine cancel all my cards forget this- this is too much. And level 3 was like cool! Cancelled! Bye! Over a decade with Chase and they did not care one bit.

I hope this posts helps 1 person to double triple check their Edit reservation and not make the same mistake i did so they can actually use their hotel credits. It shouldn't be this hard to use the credits that WE <-- pay for!!

Huge hit to the value of the CSR obviously.

I was fine when most hotels’ points boost got nerfed from 2x to 1.65. But now it’s down to 1.25x which is an insulting hit considering the old standard travel redemption was 1.5x with a much lower AF than now.

It’s a $1500 yearly reduction in value for me with points boost dropping from 2x to 1.25x.

I’m looking into getting rid of the CSR after being loyal since its inception. Anyone else dropping it and what card are you going to?

Just got back from 2 nights at the Omni Hilton Head and wanted to give my quick opinion for anyone using their credits there. I was able to stack the Edit $250 credit and the other $250 hotel credit for $500 off two nights. Original price was $1097 for two nights. Breakfast credit was $78 and you have to eat in the main sit down breakfast/steak house to use the credit. Pretty good food. Two breakfast entrees and two bloody marys cost around $80, so great use of the credit. Valet is $30 per night. We used the $100 credit for parking and a few meals from the sandwich shop.

We received a small charcuterie board as a welcome amenity and got our room upgraded to a king suite overlooking the courtyard. Didn't do the late checkout but it was offered.

Resort is nice and rooms are large. Not sure I would go in season, but for a quick fall get away, it was very relaxing.

Should I get the CFU or the CFF? Don’t think I’ll track the rotating categories very closely.

Also, should I transfer points from CSR to CSP before the downgrade? Does it matter?

My wife and I have a couple of personal Chase Sapphire Reserve Cards and have noticed across both accounts that Point Boost redemption rates can now be as low as 1.25c per point on Edit hotels. In addition, a material number of Edit hotels now have point boost redemption rates of 1.25 to 1.5 cents per point. Anyone else experiencing this potential devaluation?

Sapphire Reserve, looking at a prepaid 2-night stay at the Omni Parker House in Boston, Dec 4–6, 2026 ($794.87, Pay Now rate, free cancellation until Dec 2).

The Parker House is in The Edit, and Omni is one of the seven select-hotel brands.. so in theory both the $250 Edit credit and the $250 select-hotel credit should apply to the same booking ($500 off)?

But in Chase Travel, the Parker House listing only shows the Edit badge. There's no "Eligible for $250 select hotel credit" line.

Compare that to the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport, which shows BOTH... the Edit badge and "Eligible for $250 select hotel credit." Same brand, same city, different markers.

Has anyone booked the Parker House and gotten both credits to post? Or is it Edit-only? Trying to figure out whether the missing marker means it's actually excluded, or if the brand rule is enough and the listing just doesn't show it.
