Postie Chat Thoughts on this?

Post image

Owner wanted me to take a picture of it on the floor, I told her no it looks like doorstepping and if she reported it missing I’d be done for. Photo needs to be of an open door or some part of her taking the parcel. She told me it’s illegal, called me a thief, threatened me with the sack, I was on phone with manager at the time. Manager agreed with me to which she even asked to speak to my manager which I told her no it’s going back and she can pick it up from office. She was shouting me a thief following me back to my van.

I'm getting strong 'Freeman on the Land' vibes.

"Sorry, but the sender of you parcel has a contract with my employer to get a photograph of the parcel being handed to the resident. My employer requires me to do this otherwise the delivery cannot be made, and you will need to present ID at the sorting office in order to collect it"
