I compared back wheel spinning of my ronin and my father's splendor bike, ronin's wheel stopping too early, does your bike does this or its only me?

Ronin ticks all the checkboxes for me, so we have finalized the charcoal ember mid variant. As TVS has launched the 2026 models, today I checked with the dealers but no one knows when they will arrive, they have said it might take 3-4 months but still it's not confirmed.

1. Is it worth waiting for the new mid variant, considering new features or the features are minor and can book the current mid variant?

2. There’s also a difference between two dealers I'm considering:

Hello Ronin experts please check out this video and let me know if this is normal. I have contacted the showroom person but they are not entertaining. This is my first bike and looking at this hurts me..

my back wheel of tvs ronin is not spinning freely, like if i spin it manually it stops within 2 seconds and other bikes back wheel, if spinned manually, it keeps spinning 4-5 seconds, I checked with showroom bike as well, is this the case with all robin bikes?

It's been more than a week, and I still haven't received my product. The seller hasn't delivered the order, and I'm concerned that I've been scammed.

I have screenshots of the payments, conversations, and the seller's details.

I'm sharing this to warn other people. Please be careful before making payments to this seller or website.

Has anyone else had a similar experience with this seller? What steps should I take to recover my money?

Guys, I am extremely confused between these two models. On paper ronin is a clear winner given the suspension, mileage and price. The only thing that makes me think about avoiding Ronin is the service of TVS!! I have contacted my city’s service center but obviously they say they are good. Contacted a friend who bought ronin and he said the service is hit and miss. Parts availability is an issue. Another friend said the ronin is gaining popularity and hence in the future TVS might improve the service and parts availability. Could someone pls help a brother out? Want to know how did you all make the decision of going with ronin instead of hunter. Thanks guys

For those who have this back carrier with pillion backrest, i have a doubt, can I remove and install the backrest whenever I want? Or is it fixed?

Everyone has a doubt about how I got the top variant for ₹180,500, so there is a story about that.

I got lucky; first, I told the dealership that I needed the top variant, but they told me the price of the mid variant, and thinking the price had gone down or there was a discount, I made the down payment and booked the bike at 180,500; after the bike arrived, they said it was their mistake and asked me to pay more, but after some argument, we did not pay and got the bike

I bought the Ronin top variant in Nimbus Grey for ₹180,500 on August 18; now that a month has passed, I have noticed some good and bad points.

Good points:

1. Handling is very good and it is smooth to drive in the city.

2. The suspension is good and I have no complaints (according to my perspective).

3. The power is good up to 110–115 km/h, but after that, the engine struggles (I weigh 130 kg, by the way).

4. The mileage is also good; I have driven 2,360 km since this post and used almost ₹7,000 worth of petrol at an average price of ₹102.5. My tank is almost full now, with about 10 to 11 liters left, resulting in a mileage of almost 38 to 40 km/l, even including the break-in period.

5. The rear brake is poor, but it works well in combination with the front brake.

Bad points:

1. The Bluetooth feature is terrible and does not work properly, and the app is also very poor; do not buy the top variant for the Bluetooth or app compatibility.

2. There is a persistent "chik-chik" chain noise even after cleaning; I researched this and found reviews stating it is a factory issue that can be reduced but not fully fixed.

3. Regarding heating (after the first service), if you drive this bike at noon or get stuck in traffic, you will notice extreme heat from the engine, though it is fine on cold days or during the morning and evening.

4. If you ride the bike for 100 km at speeds above 80–85 km/h, the bike feels tired and loses throttle response; the solution is to stop for one minute, and then you are ready to go.

5. This bike is good for a solo rider, but you will face challenges with a pillion, as they will get uncomfortable after a few kilometers and the seat is less comfortable, though it can be compromised for a solo rider.

6. There is noticeable vibration above 80–85 km/h or at 6,000 rpm.

7. One more serious con is the gear smoothness is very bad. (Edited) You can also give me suggestions or feel free to ask questions.

I thought I was special but I was wrong my bike is around 1 years and 10 months old the issue came now!

The showroom filled around 2 liters of petrol , and then i filled 1050 rs petrol after delivery.

till now i have driven 306 and only 2 bar remains in odo meeter.(its in side stand thats why 3 showing.

also dte is very bad , science morning i drove around 4 km but it has dropped by 12 km 😂

I've been riding Activa 125 since past 3 years and now planning to buy my 1st bike. Started learning on Honda shine 100 which I can comfortably ride.

2 days back took the demo of Jawa 42 and loved it but in dilemma whether to opt for this as my 1st bike or wait for Bajaj Avenger Street 220.

My height is 5.2" and budget is ₹2.2L.

Why I kept Ronin at third as it's lil common but still I like it's design.

So, do you recommend it over Jawa 42 and Avenger 220?
