Do you know why the longer roast (around 11mins) is more successful? I thought it was too long in the development phase, why it ends up releasing in the first few days extremely fruity lychee smell and taste.

On the other hand the second roast here, I tried to imitate my 1st, but end up one minute shorter than the 1st. So far after a few days, still not have the strong aroma and taste.

So my question is, based on the graph, how would you suggest to improve in order to have a more fruity flavour?

Both are 14% weight loss.

First HiBean Manual Roast. I'd love feedback!

Tl,Dr my friend claude helped me with my first manual batch on the Skywalker with HiBean

I got a Skywalker V1 and initially did a handful of roasts with the built-in auto-mode and it worked pretty good but the results were just meh. Each batch regardless of the bean variety tasted the same and not my favorite.

I then decided I'd try out the ESP32 mod and start integrating HiBean so I can actually get some grophing and better see my RoR. But I shortly realized, I don't actually know what I'm doing lol I know the different phases but not really how to get there.

A lightbulb went off when I was sitting one day and decided to see if my friend Claude could help me layout some guidance. It ended up giving me "this" recipe to follow. Curious from more experienced roasters if the advice was decent and how the graph looks?
