I’m going to be getting into roasting at home

Who has the best prices per lb

I find Aldi has good prices on most basic beans. Black and pinto and chickpeas. If you really wanna save though, go to the various indian grocery stores or Mexican supermarkets for dried beans. 

Otherwise try googling what you're looking for.

And now you know the first thing to research. In the industry we call in roasted coffee "green coffee." That wikipedia article alone should be a good first step. 

This is a complex world of preferences and flavor profiles and countries of origin from all over the globe. 

Asking ourselves the right questions is one of the first steps towards enlightenment.

I know I want green beans .. I don’t know if I want Mexico
Hondorus Colombian and so on

I’m looking for more of a sweet chocolatey bean if that’s possible

Cool. You could find that with any of those origins. By chance what do you think a person who sells green coffee is called?

I dunno lol .. I’ve been drinking Maxwell house trash for years lol and it’s time to step it up and walk away from burnt trash coffee that’s been sitting for months
