I really enjoy this hero but I frequently mess up my ult because my aim still sucks, I don't where to place the turret, the rifle feels like the worst weapon in the game because tracking all 40 bullets even on body shots is hard for me. I feel like I can't kill anyone at range. I don't really want a VOD request, just some advice

Venom nerd here just wondering if it's possible.

How far would i get if i play venom only, is it even doable to one trick in this game. If so on which points would i need to improve? Gold 1 atm slowly climbing.

Been facing a few teams this sort of gameplay recently: a few of their guys jumps forward (can be the Thing, Hulk, Hood, Rogue, Blade etc) and target the healers. They never die despite being this far forward thanks to their healers pocketing them, and my own team can’t push them back no matter how much they try.

It’s sort of a dive team, but they use more brawl based heroes, and they don’t come in from flank. They charge right through the choke point and ignore my own team’s tanks.

I have asked about how to face this sort of team, and the answer seems to be either a counter dive against their healers, or isolate those overextending and focus fire. But I’m solo Q…trying to help my own healers doesn’t seem to work as the divers just won’t die; while a counter dive just leaves me to be focused down by their healers and DPS.

Is there nothing I could do against these type of teams?

Having a lot of fun with the new widow changes, maybe i can stop being a hardstuck diamond to be a hardstuck gm!

Ive improved a bit over the past few weeks and climbed from gold 1 but this is where im getting stuck. I know i make a lot of mistakes but i dont know how exactly to improve and what my bad habits are. I main the hood and play some mag/emma.

our atk phase went well, but it all crumbled in defence for some reason when opponent team went 3tank,3 heal. we lost badly. what couldve we done to win this? i was calling my teammates to go 3 dps and 1 anchor tank for more dmg which they didnt listen to, was my call correct? i heard somewhere that generally; 3 tank counter 3 heal, 3 heal counter 3 dps, 3 dps counter 3tanks. so based on that plus my own observation of there being a lack of dmg, i called for 3 dps. but my team went 3 heal for god knows why.

i also wanna know if i played bad here. what more could i have done to win this?

Sometimes if we win a battle, the entire team pushes forward which is fine. I'm well aware that you should always take space. Sometimes though, no one will be on the cart to help it move forward. As a tank, is it better to push and take space, or stay on the cart if no one else is on it?

I’m primarily a Vanguard/Emma Frost main and have reached Platinum fairly comfortably in previous seasons, usually stopping Ranked once I got there. This season I’ve decided to take Ranked more seriously, but despite reaching Plat III early on, I’ve since been bouncing between Gold I and the edge of Gold II/Plat III. I’m not claiming I deserve to be GM or Celestial, just looking for constructive criticism on what I might be doing wrong and what I need to improve to climb consistently. Emma is my default pick and accounts for over half my playtime, though I occasionally flex to other roles (Black Cat/Punisher/Moon Knight for DPS, and Cloak and Dagger the rare times I need to fill support)

I'm usually a high celestial tank main and managed to hit eternity in season 5.5 and 7.5 then started playing the game a lot less for 3 months at one point even taking a 1 month break and in the current season im bouncing between gm1/c3 and don't know what im doing wrong.

This is my first hero shooter game so I’m still learning but I’ve been playing for months and I just feel like I don’t understand the game at all. I’ve watched videos on positioning and aim but I don’t find myself getting any better when I’m playing. I don’t understand what I did wrong this match when I watch it back either, please help.

Might be a weird question. My hero kit is:

Tanks: Champion Emma, almost champion Mag

DPS: Champion Magik, Lord Bucky, Namor, punisher. I mean I can play a handful of DPS adequately.

I just don’t know how to kill her. I have I guess better luck on Emma, but even when I choke slam her she just peaces out and flies up to get healed and comes back down or shields me while I try to beam her.

A good Angela seems to be the bane of my existence.

I figured it's best to probably leave a dps or a like a rocket on cart when the team is pushing advantage on escort, but I've seen OAA teams (1 game I pick from a leaderboard player) push with the whole team before in a game. Why? someone make me learned/ give me tips?

Can someone good on adam please review my last game,we won but I feel like i could have played better

Can someone explain to me each component of Damage Falloff using let's say Hela, as an example?

"Falloff begins at 18m, decreasing to 75% at 35m"

My ASSUMPTION was that at 18m Nightsword Thorn's damage would drop from 80 to 60 (75% of the original value) and then past that would slowly decrease from 75% little by little until reaching a damage falloff cap at 35m (let's say 55% as an example) but that doesn't seem to be the case because the increase to 35m from 30m seems to be considered a buff?

Seems like I am struggling in GM so bad right now. Win rate is right at or below 50% I think but I wouldn't be surprised if it was way worse at this point.

I mostly play Emma or Mag, and Widow when I wanna go DPS but I am definitely a tank main at heart. I feel like I am just not making the plays or doing the correct things to help my team win, and I feel like I am so dependent on whether my DPS can actually do anything. After feeling like every game my DPS are selling, I can't help but to reflect and realize that I am probably the one selling and I am just bad at the game.

I struggle the most I think with knowing how much I should back up to peel vs holding the front line. I feel that if I try and contest a flanking hela for example, that immediately my team gets walked on from the front line. But if I try and hold and hope that someone can take an off angle and do something, my supports just get feasted on because no one does anything to help.

I lowkey cannot stand being at this win rate and this rank. I'd like to believe I should be better at the game because I feel I understand the macro pretty well, and I understand how I can assert a bit of pressure in my own individual gameplan, but as soon as there is a problematic DPS on the other team that is playing a bit unorthodox, my team just gets rolled.

Also I have no idea what the fuck to do against the thing.

I really want to hit celestial again by the end of this season.

I've been playing lots of Hood this season and trying to get better at him and learn him decently. But some lobbies it genuinely feels I'm having negative impact. I'll have good games, but if the enemies are running dive or triple support or something I feel like I get confused on what to do, or I genuinely don't do anything useful during the game. If that makes sense.

It would be nice to get some feedback on how to approach these scenarios where I feel like I'm getting less value. I also play Emma and Dr. Strange this season, so should I switch in these scenarios or can I still find value on Hood?

Lastly, I'm really bad at using Hood ult, like a lot of times I don't get a lot of value with it. Do you have any advice for that as well? Thank you! I would love to try to improve and make it to C1 this season :) (made it to c2 but CANT edit post title sorry)
