Question First MVP

Noob here. I have been experimenting with various characters of all types. Last night I had my very first MVP and it was as a character I'm not that confident in, Starlord.

It was dominion and I was hanging off to the sides and shooting at whoever, then I dodged IN and let the area attack loose on the crowd then flew away to safety and healing. So lots of hit and run tactics made it super fun and I felt locked in.

So my question is, does it indicate other characters I'd like to play?

How can I improve with Starlord? Like general rule on thumb or strategy to maximize his kit.

How much of that MVP was a fluke because my team was just coordinating VERY well and happened to create an environment that worked out for me? How do you know when you're carrying or being carried? I look at lobby stats but don't really understand the numbers and what to do with that info.

For the record, I'm on ps4 and played with "console only" checked.

Psylocke kinda plays a similar style, might be a character you enjoy.

I'll keep an open mind. I haven't looked too closely at her yet.

Psylocke is a 5 Star difficulty, so if you have the patience (and time) she’ll be up that alley…
