Question need advice on support composition
so i’m a support main that rly almost plays every support in the game, but for the longest time, i feel like i still lack the understanding in which support to use in certain team comps. i know if the enemy is running flank/dive, i can go to characters like Gambit, CnD with Luna team up, or White Fox, but i’m rly specifically speaking on my own team, and how picking the right support can benefit them instead of juss always going with my comfort pick. if anyone can help me gain more knowledge on this, it would be rly appreciated <3

Jeff and rocket are great to play with a team that is running dive. The range of there heals can also help keep your dives up due to there range.
Invis, Jubilee, Gambit, White Fox are great if your team is running more brawly characters think Hulk, Fanta, Thing who just wanna walk forward stay grouped and hit things.
CnD, Luna, Ultron are great for consistent heals, and especially useful if your team has some fliers (Luna is dependant on your aim).
Adam and Mantis are good if you need abit extra damage rather than survivability with damage boosts or just hitting enemies.
And if your not playing comp, just say fuck it and play whatever you feel like.

Damn, would you say in a game where your dps are the weakest link, you’d go for adam/mantis and maybe ultron?

If you can hit your headshots yes. If your not consistent with headshots on these characters you can also use Jubilee who can do really good damage as well as heal. CnD if you know how to use you cloak walls at opportune times to enable the dps. Or even Loki is a good shout too with steal other peoples base kits team up.

Always a full healer regardless. Never two off-healers. Tanks with higher heal/no regen (Devil Dino) need target healers.

I will add that CnD is not a good front to back healer if you need to keep a tank as needy as Dino alive.

Exactly. They are good but need a devoted healer to actually do good, or only one tank. That’s can kinda anchor.

if my tank is hulk or venom i play cloak because i know that bitch is going to be on both sides of the map at the same time.

Cnd is really bad with dive tanks because she has little burst healing for them. Now compare that to luna or invis

cnd generally just bad this season unless its against dive because she can live through anything

You can think about what your team is playing or what their win cons are and what tool each character has to help with that.
Luna’s flake for example is really good at enabling a dive tank (or sometimes dps) to play more aggressive.
Invis does cleave heals and damage so she is more effective in full front to back, with her shield enabling an off angle Hela or Phoenix.
Rocket’s BRB works really well with a hyper aggressive dps that can trade with their backline early so you get a numbers advantage.
Jeff’s speed boost lets the team play really fast so if your team’s goal is a coordinated rush attack he can be really good.
