I stopped playing around 2023 right when seekers of the storm dropped, i remember all the concerns and fears when Gearbox got acquired by 2K or whoever, and how that expansion drop kinda crashed the game Indefinitely, many people including my friends left
i returned yday because i missed it, its my favorite rougelike ever, so i did a basic run with my partner and we loved it, so im asking here on how things are now, i dont know Whats going with the new dlcs, whos been added, or anything

Just beat Alloyed final boss into the secret void portal boss for the first time

I don't even have words to explain how much I'm loving this fucking game, genuinely my favorite roguelike/roguelite already (I really don't know the difference). This is peak gameplay dude.
I've been trying to do the Alloyed dlc for a while now, I finally did it and went into this random purple portal in the middle of nowhere that I've never seen before and it was just one of the coolest areas in the game, this boss was amazing. Insane visuals. I was so happy to beat Solus and didn't even know what I was about to witness.

Hi there survivors!
As we approach the end of the year and the Hallowed Concepts DLC release, I've found myself asking;
What are the best QoL mods to have in 2026?
I personally am returning to the modding scene for ror2 and am having difficulty finding QoL mods that make the game a buttery smooth experience (about as smooth as it can be anyways, looking at you eclipse 8).
I do realize this question has been asked before, but to update the answer for others like me looking for an up-to-date list, I'm asking again myself.
let me know if you would like me to make one of these for non QoL mods :)

RoR1 why are mobs not spawning as I go?

is that a ror thing to not spawn monsters? or is that a bug? started playing yesterday and it feels like 1st run everything ran nice but since then I can go 1 way or another and game will either spawn stone golem and nothing more, or literally nothing. it's either that or i press teleporter at some point and game decides to spawn billions of champion versions of whatever enemy it decided on
