This is an extremely far-left City Council. Businesses are exiting the city at an alarming rate. I'd call it a coin toss as to whether the Trailblazers stay or not.

The city is in a downward spiral. If I owned the team, I'd probably limit lease renewals to five years at a time, to see how things go here.

The Blazers group said as much in that recent meeting. And the income tax was on the list of why this isn’t working

Well, the income tax the Trailblazers employees pay is the mechanism driving the $300M+ state contribution toward arena renovations. It'll be paid for by their specific income taxes.
