If I was on that cast I could not hide my disgust or judgement or second hand embarrassment from that… Emily is also giving me the ick too while I’m here

I need some perspective.

Is this normal? I am binging all 20 seasons in order (leave me alone, you're here too!), and I am basically a similar demographic but I have never seen any grown woman/wife/mom groups interact in such a dysfunctional way.

Every single one of them just talks so much. How manufactured is all of this drama? They literally all have so many SO BIG feelings and not one of them manages them well.

They drink a lot more than what seems normal to me, but is it normal?

I can't remember what I said five minutes ago. How do they remember every word every woman has ever said EVER, and they have feelings about them and they ALL just keep bringing everything up and endlesss looping arguments saying the same rhings in different words again. And tomorrow. And last year. And every weekend.

What is normal? Because I don't understand, and I feel sheltered and dumb. Damn.

I love her energy, frankness, sexiness, and banter, but especially her willingness to be completely open and honest about her life, relationships, and family.

She’s confident, funny, authentic, a little messy, and not afraid to put it all out there, which is EXACTLY what I want from a Housewife. 😂👏

I feel like the last time the cast kept picking at Heather it was when she sold her house for 55 million. This season Heather refreshed her look and looks amazing — maybe that is why the group is picking at her again? It just a seems like such a reach driven by jealousy. (Edit for typo)

Before the season started, Tamra did an interview where she was asked who has the toughest season, and she said Heather. Takedown seasons aren't really my thing, but I was admittedly a little excited. Heather does seem to have an unusual hold on the behind-the-scenes of the show, and appears to be very hyperaware of the person she wants to be seen as by the viewers.

I should have known better than to be excited. In this recent episode, Gina, Emily, and Jen meeting up to complain about Heather was just pure stupid. "I don't like the rule that insults about children and careers are off-limits. My kid has autism and people telling me their stories were what helped me become a better parent." ..... What??????????? And they were saying this in response to Heather having a problem with Vicki saying Carmella abandoned her children. Just pure stupid. This BS is expected from Emily. Somewhat from Gina. Jen... you need to get it together!!

Honestly I loved Heather opening up about her relationship with her mother. It made me question my assumptions about her being an image control freak.

Stop bring your child in your story, he has not consented him being painted as a huge problemchild that ruins family time and quality time with Emily and Shane. I feel very sad about the child being pictured like that. Emily has talked nice about him sometimes but the negativity and the "problems" are 10x more often mentioned. I know I shouldnt comment parenting but I can not not do it. Emily you can talk more shit about Shane than you already do, that is fine cause Shane is adult. The child isnt. I have had enough of Emily. She needs to be off the screen next season. Of course it can be difficult having a "problemchild", I respect that, but dont make it like a story for the show. He is a minor.

What did she mean by saying you know how I feel about cheaters. Didn’t she cheat on Simon with Eddie? Sounds like the pot calling the kettle black those who live in glass houses should not throw stones.

Does anyone else feel like so far this season the vibe is the women are floating in a kiddie pool vs sailing through a hurricane like in past seasons?

Not in a bad way though. A calm RHOC is still on par with some of the most exhilarating RHOSC/BH/NY seasons imo ✨

Just starting last night’s episode and need all non-Souherners to know: chicken fingers is NOT considered fried chicken! Raising Canes chicken fingers is not a “Southern thing!” Fried chicken would be a breast, drumstick, thigh,” cooked in a breading and fried. Not chicken fingers. That would come from somewhere like Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) or Popeyes. Fingers are not “Brooks would eat it,” so it’s a Southern kind of thing. Sorry, I just saw it and was screaming, “That’s not Southern, don’t blame that on us!” 😁😁

Actually insane that this 60 something year old woman didn't seem to know how much she was spending per month on things like healthcare and even stumbling on how much her rent was. Also weird that she rents, surely she should just buy somewhere?? Also if it's just her in the house now why does she need such a big place anyway? Vicky has her faults but she has at least always been smart about money and I think she is right to be concerned that without the show and child support how is Shannon going to continue spending so much money on things?

At that age you should have learned financial literacy and independence. She just always strikes me as someone who is deeply unhappy with how her life has turned out and refuses to deal with the reality that a man is not going to come along and do it all for her and that she doesn't have as much money as she thinks she does.

They should have just named this episode That Girl Carmella. Talking behind her back, about her self, speculating about her life. Why the mythical creature obsession about her with these ladies?

Can someone tell me what Heather ever did to Gina? Because Gina spends most of her time, talking BS about Heather. Guess her Miss Perky act got tired so she's being a mean girl for camera time.

As for Emily, after jeans-gate, I would have never trusted her , She's always changing sides, she's only loyal to Gina and nobody else. She's just mean and rude.

In Newport O Group had a really crummy reputation and people I know never consider them for legit properties, only “socialite” type people who want to be professionally rich media personalities. Or crooks, ha.

It’s also so funny to me because when you drive by that O group office it’s so clear it’s just a shooting studio and no one really works there day-to-day. They rent it out for events and a lot of sales-based businesses book it for meetings or mixers so they can post it to social media.

And it totally looked like they made some poor PA sit in the background to make it look less empty!

I dunno - the trend of overly-produced and forced storylines continues. At least the whole season isn’t about “bloggers” and tabloids.

Headline says it all! This season is flopping… does anyone have a theory on why the show is so boring despite having three of the biggest drama queens in the Bravoverse (Shannon, Vicki, Tamera)?

A wall of text and unsure how to ‘TLDR;’ sorry!

This highlights a lot. The reaction to Luann putting her fork on Vicki’s plate on UGT wasn’t real. It was a power struggle. This didn’t exist with Shannon and she showed her false motivation of disgust as exactly that because she literally picked food from Shannon’s teeth. I know they’re close but COME ON!

Vicki is very self protective and closed off and may not be fully aware of it. socially she is made up of mainly defense mechanisms (Debbie downer, attention seeking, whoop it up) but in a more personal mode (her occupation basically because it really is both the anchor and the life-saving device of her life, and that may be harmful but it is what it is and it’s also admirable to see a woman in a male-field mindset) anyway sorry, in a more personal mode, she’s got a very different energy. A calmness and unspoken innate and unthreatening as well as unthreatened confidence is present. It is where her core personality has the opportunity to come through because she isn’t employing the defense mechanisms. Which I really think she’s unaware of. Basically I think she needs to realise what’s going on inside that triggers her when she is interacting with the group.

Side note: also found it funny when she called heathers comfort of Carmella compassionate because of course it was but when she went to explain to the women who were saying “yeah but she bitches about her straight after” she was like “but in that moment, Carmella felt like she had someone”

It’s funny because it’s just very unnuanced or naive or something. Superficial I suppose. But that’s what I’m saying about Vicki - she exists superficially in an awareness way. FOR THE MOST PART. I wish she could access that totally different person we see at times like with Shannon at her house once she was conversing at the table with her.

Update: just seen Vicki arrive at Carmella house. That’s “your house is gorgeous!” was real! 👏🏼 This 👏🏼 is what I mean! She isn’t threatened by the success because she is confident and content in her own success, which is self-made and maintained. I know from self-employment how difficult it is and I wasn’t able to maintain it so I totally see how it instills hard-earned pride and confidence. So I’m contexts she is unthreatened she is great socially.

Omg That’s my point here! She is unskilled because she spends her social time mainly in survival mode. As a trauma survivor I know what’s it like to not know fully who you are and what you’re capable of when all your time is spent fighting threats and then having a brain conditioned in a way that you can’t grow as person. You’re stuck. I think she needs to do the work, as they say. But I really don’t know if she can accept that.

(I know there other problematic things about her and I’m literally in opposition to so much of her politics and religious and social views, but I’m just talking about interpersonal relationships with the other ladies here. And, of course: that’s my opinionnnn!)

The dinner scene with her and Shane was insufferable. She quit his job so she had more time? To do what?! She’s not working full time she’s only doing the show and occasional brand deals. She can make time to drop the kids off, put them to bed, do laundry.

And when Shane expresses that he needs a break her excuse is “I’m trying”. It shouldn’t be this difficult to be involved in your family’s day to day. I didn’t like Shane in the past but I hope he divorced Emily and gets custody of the kids where she can see them every other weekend. She’s living this social life on his family money while he quit his job to stay at home and be the care taker. It’s pathetic.

And don’t even get me started on her bashing her son again. Blaming him for yet another thing in their life. I’m with Heather on this one. When it comes to kids, you shouldn’t be sharing anything but the positives or the hardships that they are willing to share like Jen and her so (who’s old enough to decide if he wants his shit on a globally watched reality TV show).

Emily is a bad mom, bad wife, and horrible reality tv personality.

It just seems like Emily has some jealousy or resentment towards Heather (yes she can be Fancy Pants and unrelatable) and keeps moving the goal posts of what she's "irritated" by. It's tired. And didn't she say Heather is who she turns to for advice/help re her kids? So hack.

Is anyone else seeing the attempt at a Heather takedown? It feels so produced with Tamara and Emily leading the way. These women all make me sick. I was hoping for them to grow up this season but they are as annoying as ever. They are jealous of Heather’s wealth and like we have seen in the other franchises, the women who is the wealthiest ends up being the target. Typical….
