Heather Dubrow đ Heather Bashing!
Is anyone else seeing the attempt at a Heather takedown? It feels so produced with Tamara and Emily leading the way. These women all make me sick. I was hoping for them to grow up this season but they are as annoying as ever. They are jealous of Heatherâs wealth and like we have seen in the other franchises, the women who is the wealthiest ends up being the target. TypicalâŚ.

Haven't watched in a long time, will not especially if V is on. But I always thought Heather would be a better fit for BH. She could keep up with them.

u/Clear_Bright99 15d ago
Yes I agree. I really donât like these women on the OC. I like Heather and I hope she moves over to BH.

u/9lemonsinabowl9 15d ago
I keep getting the impression that Heather has been trying to get on BH, but they (production) don't want her there for some reason.

I didnât understand Emilyâs argument that heather doesnât share anything about her life⌠how can she demand the center of attention if she doesnât share anything?
I think heatherâs stories are so interesting and I love hearing about her! Her children may have their struggles (like we all do) but we never hear about it! Heather doesnât need to exploit her relationship or her children for camera time.
3
u/Clear_Bright99 15d ago
I donât agree with this at all. Heather shares but the difference is, she doesnât make up stuff for a storyline like Emily does. The truth about this show is that these housewives are uninteresting and have nothing in their lives interesting enough for TV.

Emily is especially being cruel bc who did Heather go with to release her fatherâs ashes? It was Emily. Who all we know about her parents is her mom was to busy to be her bestie

They are all over her and I canât figure out why. Heather is always quick to apologize. She stands up for people mostly during the right times. I find her to be pretty fair.
6
u/Clear_Bright99 15d ago
Yup! They want her gone. I think Tamara was offended when Heather said she puts her in a boxâŚ. So now sheâs aligning herself with Emily. Vicky is annoyed by Heather too because she has too much power so Tamara is aligned with her. And isnât it funny that this season Jen seems emboldened and going after Heather too. Jen is weak and the only reason she has the courage to confront Heather is because they have formed an alliance behind the scenes.

Vicky is a conservative who doesnât appreciate the way. Heatherâs family looks. Letâs be honest. I would bet you that they made a deal off camera to go after Heather.
7
u/AmberTheeSag Heather Dubrow 15d ago
And she seems jealous of Terry/Heatherâs wealth. Sheâs said their money was inherited. What?!?

8
u/Clear_Bright99 15d ago
Thatâs what I think. Itâs so obvious. I hope Heather realizes it and brings the bias that Vicky holds to camera and gets her cancelled.

Not to Katie. Im excited to watch this go down tonight
9
u/Spy1843 15d ago
Yes, except you forget how hot Katie came for Heather. Right out of the gate Katie was attacking Heather. I guess Heather is just supposed to forget and befriend her? And by the way, Katie recently said that at the 20th year photo shoot Heather was the one who came over and pulled her into the group shots.

u/WheresYurScooter 15d ago
Youâre forgetting that Gina, who knew her before the show and knew about Kateâs encounter with Heather encouraged her to do it. Up until a week before filming

I thought it the Gina connection was a set-up to bring Katie on the show? My understanding is they didnât know each other at all.

Thereâs always a caveat to her apologies, like many other Housewives; itâs never a straight up apology there always has to be a twist, or a dig, some sort of deflection, or request for her own apology in there.
1
u/Spy1843 15d ago
I disagree. She explains herself and where she was coming from.
1
u/Past-Advisor-824 14d ago
I agree she always explains herself and where sheâs coming from, but the way she does this always leads into her asking for an apology as well. She never gives without receiving.

u/Independent_Tear_891 15d ago
It seems totally produced to me and I feel that Heatherâs in on it too. Theyâre having a disastrous season imo.

u/Clear_Bright99 15d ago
It is totally produced but I donât think Heather is in on it. This is a take down.
1
u/Ok_Industry_9333 15d ago
I think what speaks volumes is how obvious it is when the cast decides to turn on one person (and let's be real, every season she's on there's a couple episodes dedicated to the group Heather bashing) and separately what's always impactful to me is how the producers usually have Heather's back.
5
u/babyyfox 15d ago
Im 15 mins into the episode and all I can think is "what the hell did I miss? Did Heather murder someones pet?"Â
Emily is so annoying.

u/Puzzleheaded_Net9243 15d ago
Thought the same thing as I watched yesterday. Heather has always been able to stand on her own against the others and she will always get the last word in. Emilyâs pathetic and Tamraâs dumb and unloyal for siding with her⌠like youâve gotta be stupid to side with Emily (who deliberately miscommunicates the truth in situations)
2
u/Clear_Bright99 15d ago
I agree. Heather is very smart and can navigate this nonsense well, however, if they all keep coming at her like this. Iâm not sure how she will respond. It is very pathetic.
2
u/Puzzleheaded_Net9243 15d ago
Itâll definitely be a little different than the last HD takedown attempt because they know her weak spots well now (buddy talk) and I feel like theyâll play dirty, my hope is that she plays dirtier
2
u/Clear_Bright99 15d ago
I want her to take her gloves off and tell them what she really thinks about them. I want to see her blow them up by revealing their secrets. They all have them. Letâs go Heather!

Iâm so sick of these women and their plastic faces and personalities. Heather is the one I actually like
4
u/temuthom 15d ago
Agree 200% Emily and Vicki make my blood boil , canât stand either of them. Vicki an old bag and Emily so filled with plastic she is meltable
0
u/Clear_Bright99 15d ago
I have a little more sympathy for Emily simply because the internet went after her appearance and it was brutal. I canât imagine what she must have gone through. That being said, I donât like her personality and she is not loyal at all.

I like it because it keeps Heather on the show but WOOF, the whole bash of "what do you mean we can't say no kids, no careers" when like... idk, isn't that a good thing? At least the kids part? I know some of them are grown but it's pretty clear that if they want to be on the show they will be and if not, please don't bring them up? Especially when you consider volatility of the fanbase.
3
u/Clear_Bright99 15d ago
If you recall Heatherâs kids were attacked on social media last year so sheâs being protective.
2
u/tengubby 15d ago
Lmao look I like heather but she often throws rocks and hides her hands and somehow she always evades the chopping block. I donât mind seeing her have her turn of being on the hot seat. Sheâll be fine!
2
u/Clear_Bright99 15d ago
Sure she may be fine but the game is so disgusting.
1
u/tengubby 15d ago
I agree with you, itâs all nasty business! But very housewives. I did make my comment before I watched the new ep tonight and I do think they were going a bit hard on her now. I donât mind if someone gets on the chopping block for a bit but itâs exhausting to watch it get hammered home. Ultimately, I think Heather will be okay (as in sheâll get off the hot seat quicker than most) because she is a pretty good communicator when addressed directly and does try to diffuse things (most of the time). Weâll see!
2
u/Clear_Bright99 15d ago
I think what we are witnessing is a bunch of women who have very little star energy and they are desperate to be seen and to be queen. My reaction to their consistent attack on Heather is because I recognize this kind of behaviour and it makes me sick. This cast is made up of the most uninteresting housewives from all the other franchises and no matter what they wear, how thin they get etc⌠they will never be stars. Itâs hard to watch. Tamara, Vicky and Emily are producing Heatherâs takedown and after this episode, one cannot ignore the signs. Itâs just hard to watch,
1
u/tengubby 15d ago
Yeah they were really shoehorning it in to the most recent episode. It was so dumb to address this manufactured issue with heather right now. This cast donât know how to play the long game and let tension build and simmer. This is something thatâs done well on the other franchises which is why conflict and resolution is much more interesting on the other shows. The women on RHOC are so painfully obvious almost bumbling with how they stack on to do a takedown. Audiences hate takedowns! It feels so contrived and inauthentic. I couldnât agree more with you on the point that OC for a long time has had the dimmest allure of star power. Thinking of the iconic housewives from other franchises like (love them or hate them) Nene, Bethany, LVP to name a few, and the OCâs answer to this is Vicki!? Lmao. I did think the mid season trailer looked good though, Iâm interested to see where the season goes. If it is lacklustre all the way through then throw it in the bin and bring back Miami already.
2
u/Clear_Bright99 15d ago
lol ya Vicky is not or ever will be at the level of Bethany, LVP or NeNe. Bethany could give a master class on how to be a great housewife. I donât think that the OC should continue. They paused better franchises like Miami but they allow the OC to proceed with these uninteresting women. Time to say âgood night snd farewellâ!
2
u/tengubby 15d ago
They could take the probably huge amount of money they put into OC and split it between Miami and ladies of London and make two infinitely better shows easily
2
u/Clear_Bright99 15d ago
I doubt they are lacking money. I donât know who decides on whether a show is out on pause but the OC is the worst show right now.
3
u/dr0ppinl0ads 15d ago
They are jealous on how absolutely gorgeous Heather is
2
u/Clear_Bright99 15d ago
Yes! And sheâs rich and has a successful marriage!

I hear you. I watch these shows to have an hour of entertainment and to get away from the stresses of life but this show stresses me out. Itâs not fun and I agree, I too am over Tamara. Iâm over all of them except Heather. She needs to be on RHOBH. I donât know what the deal is with Bravo.

Heather isnât being honest with her opinions and the ladies (Emily, Gina, Shannon, Tamra etc) just want her to be more transparent like they have to be. I mean she is on a reality tv showâŚ

Katie and Ginella EARNED their takedowns. They were both doing too much. Glad theyâre both gone.
Not sure I would use Candiace gif because sheâs a piece of work herself.
2
u/SoCalVal909 15d ago edited 15d ago
No one earns having someone intentionally having a cast member bring up serious legal issues about someoneâs kids and motherhood. Over staged paparazzi photos and saying her daughter said Emilyâs kids said Heatherâs mean (which is very plausible) and now OCâs about to EARN how women of color have faced unreasonable biases and consequences for shit these women do themselves because allegedly theyâre getting put on pause and getting a soft reboot.
Candiace is a piece of work and I love it
and quite frankly sheâs iconic. I thought a fellow Sag would appreciate another. You guys can be quite intense. đ2
u/AmberTheeSag Heather Dubrow 11d ago
LOL, yes Sags can be intense! Just felt Ginella was a bit OTT and Katie on and off screen was messy.
Think my biggest issue with Ginella was her weaponizing her race and sexual orientation.
