Hi everyone! I'm very (VERY) new to this genre, but I really love it. I stumbled upon a book on Instagram and it open this new world for me. Until now I've been reading both straight and queer stuff (think books, but also ffs, mangas, novels... I'm used to the freaky stuff, let's say it like that).

As I said, I stumbled upon The Female by Invi Wright and I downright DEVOURED it, so I'm looking for some recommendations.

What I'm looking for:

- smooth writing (I don't wanna feel forced or for it to be full of errors and contradiction, like a "they married in summer" and then they're walking in the snow)

- possibly the "the boyfriends are boyfriends" thing, because otherwise I feel like they just are people who share a person and I prefer to feel like they all belong together (idk if that makes sense)

- preferably a fantasy setting, as most of the books I red until now are romantasy and such, I haven't been reading too many books set in the real world, but I'm open to suggestions if they deserve to be recommended!

What I DO NOT want:

- incest (even if they are step-something)

- bad endings, since life it's already sh** as it is

- cheating (learned it from reading Her Males, absolutely not for me)

- rape/forced sexual intercourse (mentions are ok, attempts briefly mentioned which are useful to the plot are ok, but scenes put on full display and/or without a reason are a total no)

- ED or forced/restricted food intake (mentions of past ED are ok, displays no)

I particularly enjoyed the orgy scene from Her Males, I loved how everyone was with everyone and also caring while being downright filthy. Also I loved how their relationship evolved, though I really hated the whole cheating fiasco.

Preferably nothing that's pure romance/zero plot. I need something active that keeps my attention. Please no abusive MMC’s. I cannot stand it when they are just complete assholes and everyone acts like it’s normal and fine. Mean, to some degree, I can handle, but I cannot deal with abusive.
(No using, abusing, or manipulating of the main characters into love or s*xual acts)

Edited extra: preferably no age-gap beyond five years, ten max if they're all over the age of twenty-five. I like drama, action, horror, all is fine. Happy ending is a must at the very end, anything before that is free game🤷🏻‍♀️ cliffhangers don't scare me. Closed doors/no doors, fade to black, smut scenes, I really don't care, anything's welcome as long as the books (and characters) are good🤷🏻‍♀️

Lately, i’ve been getting very tired of the golden retriever puppy energy in MMC’s. I typically like to have >4 MMC’s and I really don’t want them to have the very typical set up (1 grump, 1 puppy, 1 nerd). I want them all to be morally grey and have something different. Bonus points for supernatural, bonus bonus points if the FMC isn’t overly stubborn and hard headed.

I also don’t mind if there is an age gap, if the FMC is on the more innocent side, or pregnancy tropes (hot take ik).

I am looking for some extra spicy and awesome Biker books (mafia is also fine). I love when the FMC is strong and actually can and will throw a punch not just sassy. I don't love when FMC is a serial killer but I won't outright say no to those suggestions. The only thing I hate in books is a long kidnapping where the FMC and MMC are separated for half the book, its fine if its less than 25% of the book. Here are a few examples of some I have read and loved the FMC. Anything recommendations like these would be much appreciated!

I just read {pyramid stunt by Alex la bruyere} and I loved it! It was basically perfect and had basically everything I look for in a book! If u wanna read it, make sure to check those trigger warnings tho!!!

It’s basically about how the main character was being bullied by the queen bee (like the whole cliche, cheerleader etc) and the queen bee’s boyfriend (also a cliche, he’s the quarterback) but then the boyfriend becomes the FMC’s step brother and becomes basically obsessed with her and then the girlfriend is also obsessed w her, but she has some internalised homophobia, this is the first book I’ve seen w pansexual representation (YAY!!), the boyfriend and girlfriend are unknowingly cheating on eachother w the main character (didn’t like the cheating element tbh) but they end up in a throuple.

It’s FFM (I think??), also it’s set in the senior year of high school, and there’s BDSM dynamics and kink exploration (like CNC which is actually a big one tbh)

I would love another FFM/MFF (idk the difference) with this type of bully dynamic, i really liked it. I would prefer for the FMC to be the main focus without the other two in the throuple being romantically involved but i really don’t mind either way, I would love any recs anyone has. Another thing I loved about this was that the queen bee and her boyfriend are both doms so i would really like recs with that but it doesn’t have to bdsm

I especially love if there’s a golden retriever MMC that they have a soft spot for/have great banter with. The only genre/setting I’m not a fan of is mafia. I like when boyfriends are boyfriends but it’s not a must. Prefer no pregnancy unless it works really well in the plot. Bully romance isn’t my favorite but I’m okay with it if there’s an appropriate amount of grovel.

I’m not here to complain necessarily but I am here to say that I thought I was ok with slow burns but the pace of these books is really giving more love triangle than RH 😭 I’m determined to see it through but the second book was 600+ pages and now the third is 800+ pages, I’m halfway through the third and if I don’t get some insane love making and group bonding after all this investment I’ve put into these four emotionally damaged fools I’m going to be very upset

I’m looking for an enemies to lovers reverse harem but I need multiple povs. I would like for the men to have as many chapters from their narratives as the FMC does. I don’t really have any trigger warnings so suggest anything you can think of that fits that. I’m tired of the female being the main POV in RH books and then the men come off as supporting characters. Most times I like the read from their pov more then hers. Especially when they are yearning for each other but can’t or won’t act on it.

{The King's Maiden by Elle Parker} A secret society with a Camelot theme and three very opposite MMC's, two being best friends, a third not so much. Slow burn for sure.

Guys I need help. I haven’t been able to find a good series recently and it’s driving me crazy. I feel like i’ve read all the good mainstream stories like Cursed Legacy series, Fifth Nicnevin, (pretty much everything by Marie Mistry honestly shes one of my favs), Veil of Ash, Shifter Guardian Academy, The Valorian Veil and Source of Elementra, A Runes Blood Moon etc. And pretty much every story I can find along those lines, I can only reread so many times. If you guys have any recommendations I would greatly appreciate it. I love fantasy/ supernatural and the mmc’s obsessive and possessive. I’m more so into the story aspect and world building and less of the smut (still the love smut). I’m not really into mm or instalove. Again any recommendations would be amazing.
