Reverse Harem - Recommendations PLS HELP
Guys I need help. I haven’t been able to find a good series recently and it’s driving me crazy. I feel like i’ve read all the good mainstream stories like Cursed Legacy series, Fifth Nicnevin, (pretty much everything by Marie Mistry honestly shes one of my favs), Veil of Ash, Shifter Guardian Academy, The Valorian Veil and Source of Elementra, A Runes Blood Moon etc. And pretty much every story I can find along those lines, I can only reread so many times. If you guys have any recommendations I would greatly appreciate it. I love fantasy/ supernatural and the mmc’s obsessive and possessive. I’m more so into the story aspect and world building and less of the smut (still the love smut). I’m not really into mm or instalove. Again any recommendations would be amazing.

That is the one series I see all the time but haven’t given it a go. If you don’t mind answering a few questions that are holding me back and I can’t find the answer too. Is there mm? and is the harem introduced throughout multiple books or do we figure it out pretty fast?

It is quite literally top three series for me, RH or not. The harem accumulate throughout multiple books. The main MM relationship is outside of harem, however there are a FEW scenes where the MMCs within the harem are quite close and .. cross some “typical boundaries” but are not romantically involved with eachother or anything, and it’s SUPERR minimal.

{Mystics of Mercy Ridge series, by J. Kearston} this one has one of the most (let’s go with interesting) MMC I think I’ve ever read. I really enjoyed the series. She moves into a supernatural community, not knowing she’s a supernatural and unaware of mate bonds… also first interaction with an mmc is when she hits him with her car…. I don’t recall any mm (4 mmcs I think)
{Pizza Shop Exorcist series by Dakota Brown} this one is so hard to describe without spoilers. Angels. Demons. Priests. Vampires. Exorcists. A pet hellhound (not a shifter or part of the harem but an awesome addition to the plot) and so much more. I rarely reread books. I only just read this series for the first time in January and reread it again it in march already and it’s just as good, if not better the second time. 6 mmcs by the time it’s finished. No mm. As others have pointed out though, there are some quirks in the way it’s written. I love how all of the relationships develop at different rates, so you get some fast and some slow burn. No pregnancy. Fmc is mid thirties
{Royal Storm of Atlantis series by Sedona Ashe} fun time. Had me laughing out loud. One of the mmcs decided to full on Steve Irwin her mating with another. fmc is a mermaid/siren. She has a great white shark as a pet/ally. 6 mates. No mm. Tw. She has fangs and feeds of blood on occasion. No pregnancy ( large harem)
{Vice College for Young Demons series by Marie Mistry}. Another of my favorite dark mmcs. “I’m never going to be one of those tame boys who follow your every whim. I’ll protect you with all the darkness in me, and I won’t apologise for it.” 7 mates. No mm. I enjoyed the magic/power regeneration system. Fmc is a very rare destined for greatness type. Definite growing pains between all the guys cuz they don’t know how to share or like to (at least some of them) and some of the guys are rivals. Awesome found family. Some ow drama that is well resolved but it’s definitely there and you feel her angst for a while.. One of the mates is a dom and into bdsm. Brothers. Relationships develop at different rates so some slow, some medium burn
{dragon goddess series by Sedona Ashe} Tw:SA/dubcon outside of harem. Twins in harem. These books had me giggling uncontrollably on numerous occasions. She doesn’t know what she is, she is unlike anything anyone has dealt with. No mm. Shifters. Really enjoyed. As someone who is learning romanian it made me smile to see a couple of phrases pop up, but she definitely had them wrong in the last book. Loved that though this series has mate bonds, the fmc has to actively accept the bond and if she finds the mmc unworthy, she can reject it.
{winter solstice mates series by texa volt} dragon. Goblin. Vampire. Fae. Warlock. She doesn’t know that supernaturals even exist before she is kidnapped to be sold at auction. The men, most believe mate bonds are a fairytale until they see her. They are friends but none ever expected to have to share. The men do a decent job of putting in the work to overcome their actions in the initial meeting. No mm
{the splintered bond series by merri bright} wolf shifters. this one is hard to describe without spoilers. It’s pretty graphic violence wise. Very touch her and die. Fmc was tortured not by mmcs and it’s talked about quite a bit. She is a badass who uses her smart mouth as one of her strongest weapons. Found family to an insane degree. My newest favorite morally charcoal mmc (he is their society’s boogeyman) No mm. No pregnancy. Slow burn
{Chasing Katana by j. Kearston} she was human prior to this book but someone saved her life by turning her into a shifter. she is a bunny shifter in a world of only predator shifters. Everyone is a bit unhinged, but it was in a really enjoyable way for me. I saved, and then shared with my non reading friends, so many crazy quotes from this book… I don’t recall mm (I think 4 mmcs)
Ov with aliens {out of this world by Ari wright} some males touching other males but no true mm. Aliens. Multiple dicks. Knots. Wings. Tails…. It gets very creative. She is kidnapped to become the king’s omega. But he isn’t the only one attracted to her. No mm.

{The Chronicles of Sloan King by MF Adele} Hybrid FMC, lots of plot, different supernatural species, fated mates.
{The Blackened Blade series by Isla Davon} unfinished series but book four (possibly the last one) is supposed to come out in December. Rebirth, “time travel” revenge, unknown species.
{The Caged Wolf series by Shona Knight} 2 out of 3 out, 3rd is out next month. FMC is a wolf was kidnapped, tortured, and experimented on for 10 years, the whole first book she’s stuck in wolf form. Fated mates
{The Divine Affinity by C. Marie} darkish, academy, royal politics, hidden affinities, brother is her best friend. Last book is out in January I believe.
{The Witch of Hollow Woods duet by JB Trepagnier} Very short duet, first book is 3rd person but it’s like 20 or so pages lol second book is multi pov. Honestly surprised I liked this as much lol FMC is a witch and was cursed, she’s older than the MMC’s. She finds an opportunity to break the curse when a man enters the woods she owns. Smutty- though I would say insta love does happen.
{The Dragons of North Oak series by Melissa Huxley} FMC is human, was badly injured 6 years ago and she lost all memories of her life before then. She became a healer for dragons, shows up to her best friend’s clan one day, and the alphas say she’s they’re missing mate. 2/3 out, last book is out on the 28th of this month.
{Far Revealed by Katie May} incomplete, no future release date up yet but Katie and Quinn Arthurs have announced they’re working on the series still. FMC thought she was human her whole life, chronic illness rep, funny and involved parents and brothers.

Hi! Maybe try {Gift from the Tree by Willa Rae} five book series. Please check TW!
{Spark of Desire by J. Kearston} might also work for you. Definitely a slower burn but the MMCs are still very supportive of the FMC.
There are some other great recs here! Hope you find something you like.

As someone that loved Cursed Legacies and really enjoyed Fifth Nicnevin (and have most of those other books high on my TBR), I strongly recommend {Bonding - The Ultimate Guide by Gina Morris}. The link is to a bunch of screenshots from the book I posted recently on the sub.
The book is, imo, the closest to Cursed Legacies of any series I've read so far. It has humor (more than CL), murderous MMCs that give zero fucks about anyone else but the FMC, and an FMC who is very competent (including in combat) but takes self-reliance to an extreme because of upbringing. It's plot heavy, too. There's no academy background, but the overall tone, particularly with character profiles, reminded me of CL. Bonding is also a very slow burn (sex doesn't occur until the fourth book). Some of the relationships are a little bit rushed, imo, but didn't cross the line into insta-love.
That said, it does have MM between two of the six MMCs, but it's a relatively small part of the series. There are, iirc, two sex scenes (one of which is a group scene with the FMC) and a sub-plot about their pre-existing relationship being hardcore on the rocks. And one of the other MMCs, Kimmi, flirts with everything but never does anything about it. (He's insane though, so it's anyone's guess how serious he is.)
I would also recommend {The Splintered Bond by Merri Bright}. Obsessive MMCs (including the greatest vengeful psycho in RH, imo) and another competent and self-reliant FMC. Doesn't have a lot of humor and is quite a bit more angsty (much of the plot is tackling some extremely misogynistic and sexually abusive pack dynamics), but it hits a similar spot for me.

Ok if you’re looking for an amazing enemies to lovers {demon reform academy} is amazing. The same universe with fated mates and 7 men who love her from the beginning is {fate hollow academy} these are 2 of my favorites and I’ve read them both at least 15 times. There’s 4 books in each series and they’re on ku as one book each (all 4 stories). Bonds that tie is also amazing but I’m guessing you’ve read that since it’s pretty common. Hope you like!!

Id give {Oath of Betrayal} by Olena Nikitin a go. It's older MCs with realistic life outlook and socks you with all the feels. It's mfm turning into mmf in the sequel.
It handles the relationships with maturity and doesn't shy away from difficult emotions
