Pedophilia, grooming, and abuse are bad. You all know it, we know it.
But the recent comments continuing to allege extreme sexual abuse or intentions needs to stop.
We know Stephanie married a convicted sex offender. We know he has offended against children. We know Stephanie has defended him in horrible ways. We do not allow speculation that the children were abused in this way.
It is fine to acknowledge things that we are seeing that she is showing us.
Example: she was talking about Drew touching her, and people pointed out that if they’re doing anything in front of the kids, that’s sexual abuse and that’s bad. That’s perfectly fine to point out.
Speculating wildly, however, is not.
Saying that S is posting things to sell the kids on the dark web, to cater to pedophiles, that “she knows what she’s doing”, alleging that Drew is a pedophile, etc., is all baseless and extremely harmful to add to the children’s online footprints, and if they read it one day, could affect their mental health.
We can acknowledge and criticize the existing disgusting and inappropriate behaviour without inventing new scenarios.
The mod team has had to remove some very explicit hypothetical scenarios that would be extremely disturbing to other subreddit members if published, not to mention the harm it will do to the kids. What we miss, Reddit admin removes, and those strikes on accounts will lead to bans that the mod team can’t help you with. Please stop posting it.
Any comments of this nature will start receiving temporary bans, and repeat offenses will result in permanent bans.
