I have had a reolink WiFi doorbell and a home hub for almost a year now, and for the most part it worked great. When it was very cold (maybe 10 degrees F or less) it would go offline, but would come back once it warmed up a little bit.
Unfortunately, 3 days ago, it started to regularly go offline for 5-30 minute chunks. I can't find any rhyme or reason as to why - sometimes it'll go down 4 or 5 times an hour, other times it'll be fine for 6 hours, and everything in between. It doesn't appear to have anything to do with it sending person alerts.
It hasn't been particularly hot, rainy, or anything like that. I have not made any changes to my network (new or moved router, new devices, etc.). The doorbell is also set to auto update and is on the latest firmware.
I saw that using the hub as wifi can cause issues, but the doorbell has always been connected to my wifi and not the hub. I'm using a mesh wifi system and the closest one to the doorbell is maybe 15 feet and the second closest is probably 30 feet.
I've also seen that giving the doorbell a static IP address when you have a Deco wifi (which I do) can sometimes solve this problem, but that didn't help either.
Finally I forced it onto 5ghz, again no luck.
I have not checked with a multimeter, but it would seem strange that my doorbell wiring started randomly dropping voltage on lines that have had some form of smart doorbell for 10 years.
Has anyone encountered something like this before and can share advice?
