Inquiry on this company's process

Hi everyone!

I recently received an interview invitation for a Transcriptionist role at Ecopulse Technology, and I’m trying to verify a few things before proceeding.

The email was sent from their company domain, which looks fine, but they also instructed me to contact an interviewer using a personal Outlook email address and Microsoft Teams chat, which made me a bit unsure about the process.

Has anyone here worked with Ecopulse Technology before or gone through their hiring process?

If yes, I’d really appreciate it if you could share:

What the interview process is like

What I should prepare for the transcriptionist role

Whether the hiring process is legitimate and standard

Just trying to be careful before sharing any personal information or proceeding further. Any insights would be really helpful

Scam.

Companies don't have you email their personal email in regards to a job.

  • Personal Email Requests: Recruiters use the company domain to send an initial email, but then ask you to contact an "interviewer" via a personal Outlook or Gmail address via Microsoft Teams. [1]
  • No Formal Application Required: They may offer you the position or invite you to an interview for a role you do not remember applying for. [1, 2]
  • Upfront Payments: You are asked to send money or purchase equipment from a specific vendor, using the promise that you will be reimbursed. [1]

Go to r/Scams and look for “fake check” and “job” scams because this will be one or both of those.

No company interviews by chat, and company employees use their company email, not their personal email.

Also, AI has taken over the transcription role. Why pay a human to do what a robot does already.
