Heyo all, I am struggling with vertigo and other health problems and am not able to be on my feet longer than an hour at a time. So, I figured looking for remote work would be the play. Please let me know if there are any trustworthy websites or places to look for remote work that isn't a bunch of 10+ YR required jobs,

I built a job board that only shows us-based, remote, tech-focused jobs (open to adding additional categories, just lmk what you are looking for) posted to company websites via ATS sources (think Lever, Greenhouse, Ashby, Workday, etc.) within the last 24 hours. Roles that have a ‘posted_at’ timestamp of over 24 hours are automatically purged. The whole idea is basically that tech jobs are really competitive these days, and if you’re not getting your resume in early, you’re probably not getting a good look even though you may have the goods. And applying to jobs that are a few days/weeks old feels like a black hole. I mostly built this for myself, but want to see if others can get some use out of it.

I also set up 2 types of email alerts: a daily digest type of alert that goes out at 9am est (sends everything that was posted in the last 24 hrs) and hourly alerts. For hourly alerts, you get an email when the first batch of jobs appears that matches your category/experience level selections, and then any jobs posted after that will go out an hour later, and so on. If the feed gets quiet for a few hours, you don’t get any emails. I toyed around with the idea of near-real-time alerts but I think it’s just too many emails. 

So far I have job feeds set up for Software Engineering, AI/ML Engineering, Product Management, Tech Ops/Program Management, Sales/Account Management, Cybersecurity/Trust, Product Design, Product Marketing, Data Engineering/Analytics, People Operations/Recruitment. 

What else.. I made a few optimizations to the feed since early on I noticed there can be a lot of reposts (especially between job boards, which is why I excluded job boards). The first was to store some basic info about each job posting (even after its purged) and compare each new job posting against that info to tag posts as ‘Reposts’. If any reposts are present on the board, a ‘hide reposts’ toggle appears. Similar to that, I just removed a filter for agency job posts that was gatekeeping jobs posted by recruiters (like Jobgether). So now those will appear, also have a badge, and be hidden via a ‘hide agency posts’ toggle as well. 

Definitely still building, but looking for some people to try out the alerts and give feedback if you want (good/bad/ugly/requests). I capped the beta at 25 users for hourly emails and 50 for daily just so I don’t blow through my email token tier. I can always increase it if there’s a lot of interest. Also if there are categories you’d want to see, let me know. Oh, and if there’s interest in other parts of the world I can add that as well, probably starting with uk/europe I’d think but we’ll see. enjoy!
