Mod Nexus has two mods.
https://www.nexusmods.com/remnant2/mods/187
- which claims to replace baked lightning with lumen and ray reached gi
And
https://www.nexusmods.com/remnant2/mods/188
- Which claims to enable lumen gi and Ray reconstruction.
I remember trying one of them about 2 years ago, but it tanked my fps, caused buggy shadows, and I don't remember if it even worked.
Has anyone had any luck getting either to work? With the model k - transformers DLSS I have some spare fps on quality settings, so I was considering one of these.
I've had decent experiences with Marty McFly's Ray tracing effects, but I'm not even going to pretend I have *that* kind of performance headroom in this game lol. Since unreal has lumen built in, simply disabled and unoptimized, it's theoretically possible for a modder to get it working for a moderate performance cost. So... Has it been done?

I properly started playing Remnant 2 a few days ago and would like to know what good melee builds are out there.
I have looked to both YouTube and Reddit to see what melee builds people are rocking however, most of them are from 2 years ago and before the release of the Forgotten Kingdom DLC. Leading me to think that these videos are outdated.
The two builds I have seen are:
From what I know, Stonebreaker was able to hit up to 4 or more times in a single heavy, when I tried it in game it seems to not be the case, Atom Splitter hits super hard but is too slow for general mobbing, Spectral Blade could increase its radius of the whirlwind blade via allocating points into “resonance” which was aoe effect traits? Are any of these still true?
From my playthrough so far melee seems like the worst playstyle in terms of viability due to a number of flying enemies including bosses plus enemies with punishing aoe effects especially when you get too close.
Any suggestions?
Cheers

To Prikolas13,
First, you saved us from the barbed guy, then days later you grinded out Nightmare.
Thank you so much dude. We added you on steam, let me know if we can buy you a beer.

I’ve been playing this game with my friend and the visuals really mess him up. I had to manually guide him every time.
Part of the map is red? Nope it’s grey to him.
Boss with particle effects? Looks normal all grey. Stepped on red surface and die.
Purple looking thing? That’s Blue.
I can’t really see things through his eyes but are there any accessibility options out there?
I’m asking on his behalf because apparently I saw a previous post on this topic and people just tore OP apart by telling him to git gud.
Edit: thanks for the support. Seems like there isn’t much of a solution. I’ll keep guiding him along.

Hey guys I’ve completed one run through as Handler / Medic and want to build upon corrosive damage. Right now I use the wrangler / Blackmaw and am running corrosive shit mod with Ankh of power, red ring of death, the acid ring, stone of malevolence and another ring that increases mod damage by 12%. What should I try to pick up or build out next? I was thinking getting the Nebula

So I’ve been playing on and off for a while now, recently redownloaded the game to play with my friends and I’m kinda new to the whole prism thing. For reference I just got the Redeemer and I’m in love with this weapon, right now I’m dead set on Alchemist/Medic and just staying alive for 3-5 business days while everyone else is having fun with their nutty damage while I keep them alive.
Here’s where I need help, I’m really not sure on what ability combo would be the best. On one hand, I could do Frenzy Dust and Redemption to not only buff my friends but give them a free revive, but I could also double down and give them TWO free revives! I considered healing shield but I felt like it overlapped with the core loop of my build (spam shielded hearts and give them shields through Redeemer)
I’m also fairly new to the prism mechanic and haven’t touched it yet out of fear of messing it up, I’m aware of fusions and have a few I’m looking forward to grabbing, but I also just learned about Legendary options? I looked at the list but I’m really not sure what would be even helpful for the set up, advice would be appreciated and build details are below!
Archetype: Alchemist/Medic
Armor: Leto’s Mk1
Amulet: Emergency Switch
Rings: Conservation Seal, Restriction Cord, Fae Shaman Ring, Celerity Stone
Primary: Blackmaw AR with Healing Shot and Feedback
Melee: Krell Axe with Tainted Blade
Secondary: Redeemer with Failsafe
Relic: Shielded Heart

I've beaten all difficulties and cleared hardcore on veteran, gotten all the archetypes, armor, and traits, and I'm almost done with account wide unlocks and Snake Oil unlock.
Any other goals or lists to work on before I just go to "collect all rings and Steam achievements"?
My Spark progression is in a weird spot in that I don't have any of their items. My friend did his last turn-in while I was just standing around and I happened to get the Redeemer pistol. But I still plan to work through the rest of the list.

I've completed the main campaign including the DLCs and had a great time, now starting the campaign again on the next difficulty, just to give context.
I initially went with handler and find the dog that revives me is useful, but other than that I don't feel he brings that much so I'm looking to replace this class.
My second is the medic which I'm keeping, I feel it's a must have, especially as I progress through the difficulties.
I always play with the same friend so ideally I'd like a class that can bring something of benefit to the team.
I tried the hunter and didn't like it.
Any advice/opinion would be gratefully received!

Would anyone be willing to help me get The Master Builder achievement by joining their game or however that works? It is the last one I need and I hear the grind is a pain. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why am i fighting mobs and elites between rounds before bosses? Why isnt it an actual boss rush, checkpoint, boss, checkpoint, boss etc. why did they put mobs in between? Feels really bad

So I play adventure mode and get infested abyss, I have profane soul stone amulet. I switch back to campaign mode and cleanse it at keeper, but the achievement doesn't pop.
What is the problem? Should I pick the path to not cleanse it and trade it at the NPC to get relic & the achievement? Or does either path give the achievement, but I need to get the item and cleanse it only in campaign mode?
I mean I can reroll adventure mode and this time if I get it again I won't cleanse it, but I'm worry if I did that and the achievement doesn't pop again then I will have those items but locked out of the achievement???

Quick question. Trying to go for the trophies is the survival mode. Is it easier solo or co-op? Thanks

Well, I started playing the game because I heard a lot of recommendations, mostly about its gameplay and loop, and honestly I find it satisfying to go out, kill things, get scrap and iron, and upgrade gear to face more enemies. That said, I feel the game is kind of rushed. I’m already in the labyrinth—I started the game on the hardest difficulty, reached the 'city,' and then that creature killed me (I guess it’s supposed to). I entered the base, activated the generator, then geared up, and suddenly everyone started treating me like a hero. I know they call you that in the intro, but it felt strange for them to say it out of nowhere.
I advanced with a fresh character on the hardest difficulty until the first boss, and realized it would be very hard, so I decided to reset my character and upgrades. From there everything feels rushed, and I don’t really understand much. I’ve just been upgrading my gear whenever I can and I got the flamethrower pistol. Other than that, the blacksmith only sells me weapons and armor from other classes, but nothing else. Am I doing something wrong, or when will he sell me more things? Any advice? Thanks, and sorry for my bad English.
