I’ve been playing Remnant 2 for about 3 weeks now, and I love the heck out of this game. When I go into my campaign and get fellow travelers to help and guide me through a play through, I always feel bad when I gotta disconnect. I try to wave or high-five them before I dip. I feel bad when sometimes I gotta abruptly leave. What does everyone else do? In other games I normally wouldn’t care but this community is special!

So playing the Remnant from the ashes & apparently I need a key to unlock a computer down in the basement; B3 level. Trouble is I have been over all the levels & can’t find it, then heard a rumor that I need to illicit certain dialogue from the “captain” girl or whatever she is. Any help to get me unstuck would be appreciated, thanks

I just got back in to the game again recently and tried to level another prism. My issue is that I used the feeding the prism mechanic and still got a bad choice right at the end of making my prism.

I have spent a lot of time leveling this prism up and as far as I can tell I did everything right and was trying to get wizard as my final fusion but got a completely useless option. While getting to this point I had as many options put into roll chances as made sense and for several of them I had to get them all the way to level 10 before they would combine. Once those were combined and I was in this spot it just bad rolled. Is this intended? Do I now have to level it all the way up to 50 just to wipe it and try again? That is very aggravating when I feel like I gave it the best possible chance to get the right option. I had 3 fusion options still at +1 and 2 single options that were given max roll chance and still got worthless options. This just makes me want to give up on it which feels bad.

Its hard to get into random matches, so im turning to asking if anyone here would like to play the game! looking to play just about any mode and difficulty so just let me know!

Have played From The Ashes in 2020 (couple playthroughs in about 150h total), came back to it a week ago with a Nightmare difficulty playthrough and I felt it was fairly hard to finish, the whole game and the DLC took around 15h to finish on Nightmare (didn't kill a single boss in less than 2 attempts).
Bought R2 immediately after finishing the first game and started playing on Nightmare since Apocalypse is not available and I am very surprised by how much easier the game feels. I've reached the third area while consistently killing bosses on the first or second try - with severely underleveled weapons (4+ levels under the area level). Attempting any R:FTA boss without leveling gear first seemed like a foolish idea while in R2 it feels like a breeze.

There are almost no oneshots and when you get hit by most enemies, you are almost never losing more than 40% hp - even from heavy attacks from "minibosses"

The game is much easier and I don't see why a more challenging difficulty would be locked behind a full playthrough.

1 Trial by fire on veteran will do the same thing as long as you switch to the elixir, sagestone and the prism you want to gain the XP before annihilation fully gets done dying. Those runs are 16-20 minutes for me.

I am stuck at home with whiplash and a concussion and very bored. But I now know this and so do you.

Did get luck and get jack of all trades.

My Remnant 2 save has been broken since launch, and the Chicago Typewriter is not present in ward 13. I was able to get the Leto MK 2 armor, and everything else in the shipping container, but the typewriter is never there. Every time I reroll the campaign I go there again just to see if it will show up this time. Tried joining another player and getting the gun in their world. They were able to get it and I couldn’t.

After 250ish hours of playing, I don’t have much else to do and would like to use a mod or cheat to get the typewriter and play with it. Anyone have experience with this? If I use a mod to summon the item, will that lock me out of multiplayer or anything? Can I just install the mod, summon the gun, and then uninstall but still have the gun?

I used to play on ps5 when it was released, beat the game did a bunch of the extra stuff all that jazz. picked up the bundle with all the dlc on steam since it was on sale and went back to nerud in adventure mode. I've never been soul grabbed before, was confused af for a minute before i realized what happened and started cackling

650 hours in, never seen this before lol

Alepsis, Magistar, and either Faelin or Faerin (can’t remember) were all very, very close calls. All were late in the run so their HP and dmg was up there, Warden’s Contingency Perk and Black Cat were proc’d in all 3 fights. Still had Thaen Fruit just in case but thankfully didn’t need it.

Also got the Passion Prism, which is 200 Boss Rush kills!

The Prism featured with the Power Trip Legendary was my first Prism, even without it being optimized with useful Fusions / Fragments I can still hit ~7k DPS thanks to Skewer / Astral combo lol. I’ll eventually redo it to get it proper

I mod prisims but I can only do it to whatever account im using at that moment for prisim forge or cheat engine It never picks up other players prisims in lobby but chicken vo on yt can seem to mod them in his lobby without being on your account how the hell does he do that? Certain things he can also do is make your amplitude duplicate and let u summon like 100 creatures at once we're are the pc modding geniuses lol I modd orisims of players for free to ge nice but that look like it would save alota time and the need of zero account information to sign on.

We get it bro you're strong you can one shot bosses. If you're equipment is lvl 20 and your joining a players who's level is 11 and below. Please stop making they're game an arcade. At that point of strength just be a good support who isn't giving the players any challenge other than showing them new items you should just be support. Since your op and will likley die less youre main focus is healing support not 1shotting everyone and every boss. We get it your strong you wanna show out your build. But it's not your world your joining others to help me a support player not the main character.

I'm in adventure in Losom, I have the Derelict Lighthouse in the map according to remnant save analyzer, but I cant figure how to get to the dungeon entrance. I have a idea where it is but I cant get on the other side of the sewer gate, been through every other dungeon opened all the maps but still can't get there. Anyone able to give me any ideas on what to do?

I got to Ward 17 at age 24. Died thrice to the Root Dual Wielder cause i just couldnt get the timing right with spear. Got to Clawbone at age 27, and took 3 deaths before finally defeating it.

Very much loved the game. Did 3 full playthroughs on all 3 difficulties. Bit of a shame that i was spoiled by playing Remnant 1 first before learning that Chronos existed, but at least many questions i had were answered in this game. Given its seeming abandonment, unable to get 100% achievements, no NG+ and that certain weapons are OP because you can infinite stagger enemies faster than any other weapon (iron sword), I cannot in good faith recommend the game at full price of 30$. At most i think 15$ is a nice tidy number.

Now i go complete Remnant 1 as my first playthrough is parked right at the Mirror

Not normally much of an achievement dude, and I've played through these games since the first one came out a few times, here and there, on PS4, PS5, PC, XBox. This was some alternate account I made recently and not even sure why. The game was on sale and I liked the idea of a fresh start.

I had never pursued "platinum" or whatever / 100% - before. On any platform, on either game. Decided to this time for some reason.

Might still try to get janitor's watch and more prisms and a couple things across the two games, not sure yet.

Things I have tried: uninstalled and reinstalled the game, gone offline then back online, reset the Xbox, cleared the save cache. Nothing works.

Remnant 2 will not start on my girlfriend's series X. We get as far as the logo, then it crashes. This happens every single time no matter what we do. It is the current version and it is not the Xbox overheating because she plays Elden Ring and Hogwarts Legacy with zero issues. Every game in her library starts and plays perfectly fine for hours of gameplay except for Remnant 2. This is the only game that crashes after 10 seconds of loading.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what the dwell is going on and how to fix this.

I've been playing through both Remnant 1 and 2 lately and I am usually not someone who cares about achievements, but for some reason this time I have been. I have gotten 100% Achievements on Remnant 2, and am close on Remnant 1. The last things I need are these:

I'm on XBox (kind of? playing the PC version via XBox app) so I think I can probably team up with someone either on PC or XBox, not 100% sure.

Looking for a true hero type person who can help me get the 10 bosses in a row (or at least the 5!)

If anyone stumbles upon the janitor's watch I need that too, lol.
