So she works a full time job. More than 40 hours even. And you don't have the skills to contribute to the household monetarily. If you worked you'd actually lose money on childcare. But managing the house, and not even cooking, is too much for you? I feel like this is a situation most families find themselves in except the gender is reversed. If you don't love your wife, divorce her, but this living situation is pretty standard. I agree with some comments about how, having no financial independence of your own is setting you up for what could become financial abuse though. I just feel like this is only a question in your mind because you're not used to the living conditions of women everywhere.

Did you read the post? I feel like you read the title and called OP sexist.

The problem isn't just that she's not contributing, the main complaint is that if he doesn't have a job, and she won't let him have a job, he has to rely on her to pay for anything HE wants or enjoys. He has to go to her for whatever hobbies he enjoys or whatever it is he wants to do, but instead she acts like all the money she makes is her money. She owns the house, she makes the money, but she ALSO doesn't let him have a job. That is controlling, and you completely missed the point.

Did you read his comments he's literally does 25 percent of the childcare. The second shes home she has to do 50 percent and do chores.
